Perk City — Restaurant in Knoxville

Really disappointed that the owner had a bunch of cars towed out of the parking lot when there were NO signs whatsoever that the parking lot belonged to the cafe...I have pictures to prove it...though conveniently there's signs now. 🙄 It was just a bunch of moms trying to take their kids to a community event. Cannot get over how many moms walked out of the event with their babies to see their vehicles gone + having to pay a huge fee to get the car back. Next time make sure you have actual signs and instead of calling a tow service, how about calling the event to make an announcement so that ppl could have respectfully moved their cars. I get that it was their parking lot but the actions of the owner were just malicious...it could have been handled so much better. Wouldn't want to support someone like that.

Perk City Coffee exceeded all of my expectations and more. I first want to say that the owner who greeted me upon entering the door is so great. She had such a warm positive attitude, and I really appreciated her hospitality. As far as the coffee goes, it is hands down the best I’ve ever had (perfect temperature, not too sweet, etc). I had a delicious breakfast consisting of a bacon and onion quiche, as well as the to DIE for apple fritter incredibites… This paired wonderfully with the Cappuccino which was made to perfection. On the way out, the owner made me one of her favorite coffee’s, a blackberry white chocolate mocha and it did NOT disappoint. The coffee, food, conversation and overall atmosphere made this a place I will be coming back to...

Beyond great coffee, Perk City serves homemade quiche and blueberry muffins—both delicious, though a bit on the pricey side.
