Absolutely incredible. We had the best time with a personal tour encouraging us to ask every question and share everything we knew. Such a fun back and forth. (I'll be back with the edit adding our tour guide's name and major kudos for his immense knowledge and love of the history). This is a don't miss stop for anyone who loves vintage computers and video games. The museum is located inside the church and was a little hard to find using Google. Don't let that stop you. Be diligent. It's so worth it!

This museum is a great way to spend an hour or so! But be aware, as the door sign states, you do need to make an appointment for the days that they are open. Even if you're not a "computer geek", there is something here that will catch your attention and make you nostalgic for simpler times!

I went to the address on Sunday afternoon. GoogMaps worked perfectly. ALL SOULS CHURCH is what is in the building now. Maybe there is some misunderstanding? Call the phone number, This Google Subscriber is not available.

Be aware, they were a no show for a confirmed appointment. Make sure to confirm via call / text after making an appointment.. We rushed to drive the three and a half hours from a family reunion we attended in West Virginia. Our plan was to stop at the museum on our drive back down to Florida. My child was extremely excited about this and we left the family reunion early to make it. I  received email confirmation of the appointment the day before. When we arrived, there was no one there, and no one answered the phone number or responded to our texts until almost 2 hours later. At that point, we were an hour down the road towards Florida. They were very apologetic, but that did not help us...

Very cool museum that is under development near downtown Knoxville and the Old City. I was given a preview tour of the museum/learning center by staff. They are in the preview phase of tours and with my yearly membership ($20 with half-off coupon from their YouTube channel, so $10 per year) the tour was only $5.

They are curating both hardware and software from the development of computers throughout the early days until now. I worked in software and grew up during this age and saw systems I'd never even heard of.

Fun place if you want to spend time seeing this thread of history. Their plans for the future of the space sounds...

Made a seek peek visit to this awesome vintage computer museum. It was a more than expected visit and blew my mind by brining back some old memories of earlier computer days. Aaron gave us a personalized tour complete with computer history and hands on demonstrations. He is a guy that shows his passion through his collection and first hand knowledge of all the systems that are on display. This place will defiantly be a worthy visit once it is in full swing. Bonus, all displays are hands on capable but be gentle...
