Don't go there, They are crooks that can't do math. Cause apparently 16+9=31 that makes since! I tried to pay them on three different occasions, But they don't take payments over the phone, or from spouse's, lastly they had just closed. I had to renew multiple times due to my son being sick, & was charged replacement fees for a book they have, Cause i guess charging fees wasn't good enough. Then sent to collections with Advantage for $41.00. Went from $16 to $41 very quickly. Mind you I called Advantage to have them treat me awful, just terrible. Clearly i'm not a person i'm a liar, & a debter, & was told that even though my 4yr old was in the hospital,We didn't both need to be there by his side when he could have been dying, & if i would have taken care of my responsibility in the first place this wouldn't be happening. I suppose my son being in ICU isn't my responsibility. Even though i did try to take care of it. And in the end i ended up paying it cause they were just going to keep racking on fees. I could dispute it, but they had been so helpful this far, that they weren't going to do anything for me i'm sure. At least she was nice enough to wave the over the phone fee. Also i was told at any point the library could have adjusted the balance...
Read moreLove this cute little library, the staff not so much. Ive gone a handful of times and im not sure if its because im Hispanic but they have been awful to my kids and I the last few times. Trust me, I never pull the race card but here it almost feels laughable. My daughter was looking for a book last visit a heavier set librarian lady was putting away books and my daughter asked her for help. She told her ask someone else. Not long after an American lady walked in and that same librarian asked her if she needed help with anything. My daughter went to the front and the younger tattooed girl was short and not friendly. I went back to ask myself and that same girl and an older lady saw me standing there and completely ignored me. I am never going back and sticking to the Meridian library. My kids dont deserve this treatment or anyone for...
Read moreWe began going regularly to the Kuna Library when our youngest was just in kindergarten, and our oldest was in fourth grade. We were pivotal to beginning the Pajama Night readings on Thursdays. (i think we were some of the only crazy parents to arrive in jammies for a few years...) ;) Now, the oldest has graduated high school, and the younger is just beginning his high school career.
Kuna Library had a hand in raising our children, from a few art classes, to sing/dance groups, to book sales, to simple free book lending. Several of our favorite tote bags are still in use, bought from the library.
Now that we're in Nampa, we miss it. The people are good natured, and very knowledgeable/helpful. Thank you!! :) ~Carolynn Evans, lit...
