Hudson Baking Co quickly became a household favorite in my house when they arrived on the scene offering free delivery. After going back and forth with the owner about ingredient quality and their in house processes I felt confident that I had found the bread for me. I had grown used to making my own bread so I could control the quality of the ingredients, and using a long fermentation process to ensure digestablity, but having a family of six I'd often fall behind. That's where Anna and Aaron swooped in and saved the day--two people that care about the bread just as much as I do, who can clearly do it better than I can. They've got my business for life.

While we still love getting a weekly delivery or catching up with them at one of the many local farmers markets they serve to pick up a special treat of kolache or cinnamon rolls, visiting their cute little shop in Kuna has become a fun family outing for us because we can get our loaves, pick up a treat and enjoy the park like surroundings of the shop complete with fresh baked bread smells.

Hudson Baking Co. in Kuna, ID, is a delightful hidden gem with much to offer. Tucked away in a quaint location, it's a charming spot owned and run by exceptionally friendly locals. Their sourdough loaves are a standout - truly fantastic in texture and taste. And the sourdough pop tarts? Simply the best I've ever had. I'm eagerly looking forward to trying their BLT sandwiches next time. Beyond these, they offer a variety of other tantalizing goodies. A small note for improvement: the coffee service seems to slow down the overall operation, as it requires dedicating a staff member solely to making drinks, leaving the till occasionally unmanned. Such a great group of people and the food is delicious. My household requires their bagels just to get through the morning. They are filling and you can put any topping you desire. Their sourdough bread is made European style which helps my tummy not be in pain. The high quality ingredients and minimal process really show in everything they make. The entire team is inviting and knowledgeable. It’s inspiring to hear how the business has started and grown. I will continue to come weekly. Will need to hide the cinnamon rolls as husband will eat them all before I even get a bite.
