I took my granddaughter Bella to do this pottery learning event this summer. She has not experienced pottery art before. They teach you a few basic steps on making art on a pottery wheel and then help you to form a piece from a ball of clay. You are encouraged to le your creative juices to start imagining other items to make during the experimental process. Bella did 4 pieces of art. She glazed them after choosing 2 color glazes. The staff are there to happily assist with any questions throughout the whole process. YOUR best choice pieces will go to the fire ovens to be dried and you pick them up much later. The whole process was fun for her and she made beautiful art. I can't wait to see it in it's finished state. I recommend this kid event to anyone who wants to have a very nice, fun and definitely "no pressure" experience to explore their interests and talents. Thank you to the staff for making this a memorable time with my granddaughter. Bella found she had a hidden talent using this art medium. Thank you to the owner/creator of this educational experience for kids. I give you all 5...
Read moreI used to love this business and spent many hours working on projects with my significant other. It was really the only time we could carve out of our busy schedules.
Sadly, I’m writing this and giving them only 1 star because they have refused to do the right thing and correct their mistake. Our projects were nowhere near done and they put them in the kiln. I understand that mistakes happen because we’re all human, but since then they have refused to make it right. I was finally told months ago that they would be sending me a check for a refund. Nothing came and now it seems I’m being ignored.
I’m totally open to working this out because it’s been going on far too long. I just want them to do...
Read moreVery upset. Not worth it. Did the wheel and the staff painted our group of 8's pottery. They didn't paint the whole pottery of any of our groups work.. They skipped the last portion of the bottom, see pic attached. All the pottery on show case in the store was fully painted and then they only partially painted our pieces. They also had drip marks on many of the pieces too along with one bottom of a piece chipped. I painted pottery in high school way better than they did.
I was so excited to go back with my group of friends but sadly don't think we will due to the very poor outcome of our work.
I get stuff can happen with the chips, but reach out and let us know...
