I am a local photographer who recently shot a wedding here in your new space. Let me first start by saying this review in no way reflects the space, most of the staff, or Danielle, who was our coordinator for the day. She was incredibly helpful and I'm so thankful she was there. She is very talented and I look forward to working with her again. This review is specifically about one venue staff member named Chris. Post ceremony, I was hoping to use the balcony/terrace for family photos with the city in the background. This was what the client was hoping for. While waiting for the couple to finish up their receiving line, the space was shifted and the staff were beginning to put the patio furniture back out. I popped outside and asked a staff member if they would be willing to wait until after family photos to put some of the furniture out (specifically just against one part of the terrace). I was directed to Chris who proceeded to yell at me that that would not be an option and there was another wedding so that wouldn't work. He spoke to me in an incredibly rude and disrespectful way that caught me so off-guard. As vendors, our goal is to serve the client well, and to work together. It would have been absolutely fine if it wasn't an option, but there was no reason he couldn't have told me calmly, and spoken to me like a fellow adult. The question was fair and reasonable, but the way he responded, left no room for discussion or me further explaining what I meant. We had to then do the photos in front of a plain white wall in the hallway which was very loud and filled with guests, because we had been left no other option (we had elderly family that couldn't go down the steps easily). He also was very rude to the videographer when she asked a very reasonable question about the sound system. He made both our jobs incredibly difficult, and we were not able to serve our client as well as if he had just had a reasonable discussion with us, and maybe even had helped us come up with better solutions. It was our first time here. On top of it all, the room that had housed all the patio furniture that 'needed to go out, right then and there' due to another wedding, still had lots of other furniture in it at the end of the day, and had nothing to do with another wedding. I'm incredibly disappointed my first time working with your venue was so sullied by this one person's attitude, disrespect, and absolute disregard for the client or their wishes. I hope the La Crosse center will say something to this individual concerning this. It's very unprofessional and reflects so poorly...

Just wanted to thank the event coordinator Mike Ferris and the entire staff of the La Crosse Center for helping to make our wedding such a HUGE success a few weeks ago in the ballroom! From the time we arrived until the time we left, it was a fabulous experience, and we’re so happy we chose this venue and city for the occasion. Things could not have been any better! The layout and the setup was perfect, it was comfortable, it was clean, it was elegant, it was everything. Mike was available throughout the whole planning process to answer any questions, and the day ran so incredibly smoothly. Every single staff member we encountered the day of the wedding was extremely kind, professional, and just so willing to help with whatever we needed. Our guests are still complimenting how beautiful the venue was, from the floor-to-ceiling windows with Mississippi views to the patio to the bar to the dance floor. We could not be happier with our choice to get married here....

La Crosse Center: A Community Hub The La Crosse Center is a fantastic asset for our community, plain and simple. It's right here in downtown La Crosse, and its spot on the Mississippi River gives it a unique, beautiful backdrop. They've put a lot of work into updating the place, and it really shows. It feels modern, has plenty of room, and they've got all the tech you'd expect for good sound and visuals. That new Riverside Ballroom? It's a great addition, offering a really nice space for events. What truly makes the La Crosse Center work is the team there. They're professional and always go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. Plus, its location means you're just a short walk from plenty of hotels, places to eat, and other local attractions. It's a reliable choice for everything from big conventions to concerts, and it consistently delivers. It's a genuine community hub that we're lucky to have. Live...

We went to the center for the Charlie Berens comedy show. The center filtered staff through quickly once gates opened. The center was very clean considering they just ended a show right before re-opening. The only negative was that the lines for food and beverages were pretty long. They could have used a few more places to have open for a sold out show. Overall staff were pretty friendly.

I have decided that the center isn't the best place for a music venue with the sound quality. Went to see Justin Moore 4/20 and my left ear that was pointing toward stage hurt from the sound bouncing. Been to many concerts indoor and out but that was not a great experience. Put on a decent show just the sound quality wasn't there.
