Red Cloud Park — Attraction in La Crosse

While there I saw a number of people using the walking trail that goes through the park it's not long but it is well maintained. ** I was concerned however when sitting at a picnic table near the shelter in between the boards on the picnic table I saw a short piece of straw and folded a piece of foil that was stuck in the slats or boards of the table I assumed it was for smoking heroin or methamphetamines it concerned me because children sitting there may pick up a straw and put it in their mouth just something you might want to look into if you're going there with children check the top and underside of the picnic table so there's no drug paraphernalia or anything that might harm your child prior to...

It's a lovely park. The walking path is very nice, my husband and I use it often for walks or jogging. It's well lit at night. This park is generally well maintained and clean.

However, recently there's been a lot more dog feces on several lamp post bases and smeared on the walking path (probably because people are stepping in this dog feces). If you're a dog owner coming here, clean up after your dog!! Be more respectful to others coming to enjoy...

Nice quiet location. Nice sized park and there is a shelter to rent for parties, tennis court, basketball hoops and a walking trail. Bathrooms weren't open during other day when we went.
