Eucalyptus County Park — Attraction in La Mesa

The park is nice. But the park warden(who lives there)... worst woman in the world! She gets on her loud speaker and starts screaming at people. It's crazy! I've heard her yell at a man, a Father, for helping his toddler on the slide and a young woman showing her young child how to use the ride-on toys. I've seen her scream at people for coming at 4:30pm, because she claims the park closes. The first time I brought my two year old, November 2015, she was in a huge argument with two different parents about the playground "rules" and when the park should close. She started shining the her flashlight in everyone's eyes and continued to scream thru her loud speaker at them. This older woman with her Grandchild was visibly shaken about the whole thing who wasn't even being "yelled at" but a nearby. The park warden is truly awful! I wonder what happened to her that she cannot use her manners? Especially when little children hear her as well. Personally, I think she is grumpy so everyone will leave and she can have the whole park as her personal...

Eucalyptus County Park is hidden gem located in Spring Valley. The park is gated and has lots of large trees throughout the park, the park features one large playground and an upper level that features swings, saucer swing and seated spinners, plenty of shaded picnic benches, tree logs for climbing and open grass space. This was our first time visiting this park and it was such a fun experience to spend part of our day playing and having a small picnic together.

The playground features climbing equipment, slides, learning equipment, and infant swings. There is vibrant upper level that is fully gated located in back of the park; the upper level features swings, saucer swing, and seated spinners.

The park is dog-friendly so there are lots of dogs running around the grass without a leash.

Small parking lot area in front of the park & more parking is available on the upper level near the swings.

Bathrooms are available & drinking...
