This is where the trolley stops! Whatever u do do not Ever be by yourself especially late at night! Got off wrk a little late and missed the trolley. Had to wait almost 30mins for the next one cause it was the weekend and it was around 12:30am. I had to call La Mesa PD. Because there was a guy going off and yelling n cussing! They used to have a frozen yogurt shop there that had some great peach yogurt. They need to find another person that can do that. Other than that, there's really nothing spectacular about the place except for the railroad museum(?). It tells a great story about the history of the railroad in San Diego county . Great small town feel in La Mesa feels as if San Diego is a world away. Various coffeeshops, Vons, and a local bar could make for an entire day affair. The Starbucks is a large rectangular layout with ample seating with a large patio as well.
