Goodwill Retail Store — Local services in La Mesa

It's alright. Kind of expensive for used clothing and used shoes. I purchased a nice pair of shoes for $20 even though one had a huge ink spot on the right top side. I also purchased a jacket for $15 and a long sleeve for $10. Total was $41. BTW: The bags for your purchases are not free; you have to purchase a bag for $2.50. I did not buy one. Photo of receipt attached. The salary for the Goodwill CEO for this area in 2022 was $391K . That's not including bonuses, dental and health package. Goodwill is a second-hand clothing and household goods retailer. One-hundred percent of their inventory are donated goods. The salary for the Goodwill CEO for the San Diego area is $391K which comes from the sales of the merchandise. The online information says that each City has their own CEO. The merchandise at the store was good, I’m glad the community is donating items that others can use. That is why I can say 1 star, and not be too upset. Other than that, employee ‘Yves’ approached my wife who had been pushing me in my wheelchair throughout the store while we shopped for about an hour and told her that “Store policy prohibits the use of personal bags.” After we explained that we could not use a cart for obvious reasons and we use the bags on the handles of my chair as a basket, she said “you can have her [referring to me] hold a basket then.” I tried to talk to her about it but she had no interest in hearing anything from us. I am saddened that a company that claims to support individuals with specialized needs would allow an employee of there’s to treat consumers with specialized needs...

I always find good clothes here. I would have given 5 stars but there is an employee here who is always so rude. According to my receipt, her name is Shannon. She was rude to me two different times while I was shopping.

Update: went again and oh my the employees are worse. This time 3 of them. Started when my daughter was trying to zip a dress I was trying on and the older man wouldn't allow her to come in room with me. So I had to come out which I was embarrassed to do so with my breast cancer scars, so thanks alot. So over the customer service at this location. Management, please do...
