I’m disappointed to give this location such a low rating, because everything is great!… except the owner! What a negative man. Cameron has been insulting and patronizing to my husband, a customer and willing worker. The interview process has been incredibly insulting, by playing phone tag with him and lying about the interview processes. Called in for four interviews and wasted our time with a false promise for call backs. Not a single employee seems thrilled to see him in the store. I’ve witnessed him verbally harassing delivery persons, stockers, and now even customers and employees. A wonderful store with wonderful employees ruined by a rude and unprofessional boss. No regard to customer service. Edit to respond: I’d like to give a quick description of how the interview went and what we’ve seen from your location, so anyone else may see. Indeed rude and unprofessional, with a rather passive aggressive response. You had called my husband in last moment for a third interview. During this interview, you had left multiple times to take care of other affairs. You also had insulted your delivery persons right in front of him, and then disregarded your managers concern for your stock. You also patronized my husband by telling him work at the grocery store is not like his other job, mocking his voice and waving at him! Seriously!? We are grown, we understand working at a grocery store is not like working for one of the largest companies on the planet. You had given my husband a date in which you would call him, an actual deal and not “we will get back to you if we like you!” He was told FOUR times, during four weeks that he will be called to come in for work, none of which ever happened. We’re aware how applications generally work. What we didn’t expect was for our time to be wasted, be patronized, insulted, and treated unprofessionally by someone who is supposed to be running a friendly establishment. We would be more than happy to talk about this in person, I believe you’d...
Read moreI just came back from shopping at this store (6/11/22) and I usually enjoy shopping at this store, but today just threw me off. I went today to return certain bamboo bones that I purchased at my last trip to grocery outlet on 6/5/22 which I found out may not be safe for my dog after doing some online research after purchasing them. I entered the store today holding the bones and with the receipt in my bag, picked up the items that I needed without any issue, and went up to the cashier to check out and do the return at the same time (which I’ve done at handful of stores like target to save time without any problems or issues). I told the cashier that I wanted to make a return and showed the receipt to her. She then eyeballed me and stated that I should’ve informed her first that I wanted to make a return before doing any shopping in the store. Not sure where that specific rule is stated anywhere in the store policy (definitely not printed on the receipt from my last shopping trip and I was never informed of such a rule until today), but I said OK. Now I know of an unsaid rule, which I get is for security reasons, but then she proceeded to state that she didn’t see me holding the bones that I wanted to return when I first entered the store. I was taken aback as it felt very accusatory. I told her I definitely had the bones when I entered the store, and I had the receipt in my hand when I went up to her. She insisted on that unsaid rule which I already said OK to, looked at me like I was pariah, and proceeded to check out my items. The experience left me feeling like a criminal and was embarrassing especially when she stated this in front of other customers, even after I showed her the item and receipt which was returned without any issues. See the receipts I posted with this review. Not sure if I as a loyal customer want to return after...
Read moreMy family and I are at Grocery outlet almost everyday and sometimes more than once a day . we know most of the employees and have been greeted and treated wonderfully by everyone - However, I was very upset yesterday, my husband and I were paying and i bought an item that when i got home which was less than 5 minutes away noticed it was cracked and i went back to just do an exchange as i told the cashier Sebastian I didnt need the reciept. He was rude to my daughter and told her she couldnt do an exchange without a reciept. I went on to the grocery outlet app which was glad to see they have all the receipts scanned there so she went back with the receipt and by this time i was frustrated and wanted our money back since we had the reciept , he insisted the digital copy from the app is not sufficient for a return. I was so upset and he said with the digital only an exchange will be done.and said i didnt want the receipt so he couldnt do anything . I think with a digital receipt form YOUR app should have been good enough for a return. also every other store will offer an exchange at least if you dont have a recieopt which is understandable. But if your store does not have that same policy, when checking out, Cashiers should tell their customers no exchange or refund with no receipt if customer declines a receipt. It was ridiculous how this was handled by your "Manager" there at the market.
for the record.. I never duplicated any review and i do not know who...
