2 stars for the vibes of the place and the beer + sandwich that my partner ordered and enjoyed, but the service was VERY slow and my nachos came out with lukewarm cheese sauce and ridiculously few toppings. I got them vegetarian and could easily count the number of beans they put on, and the jalapeños were not pickled as listed on the menu but instead were raw and spicy to the point of making the dish inedible even when pushed to the side. Also received some kind of shredded cheese instead of cotija - never seen cotija served shredded in my life. Expected much, much better for $13 nachos - and that’s without adding meat. this review is for both People's 9th st and Krug Kosuth st The Nacho plate is wonderful delicious and plentiful a meal for 3! Beer OUTSTANDING Great wait staff. Both places. Krug 3 rd time visiting and ALL visits were great food fav is bratworst sandwich with saurkrat and German potato authtinc german style Great steins and pint glasses and of course the Mug Club mugs at 9th st.

Stopped in for a few pints and some food. The mounbuilder is a solid ipa that is well balanced and a staple of People's. Servers are very friendly and personable. The grapefruit moundbuilder is an amazing citrus combination that had the perfect amount of grapefruit, coming from one that doesn't like flavored beers. I really enjoyed the Oktoberfest special, their german food special. The space cowboy is also a great double ipa that can be dangerous with how great it tastes!
