The Tick Tock Tavern & Family Eatery — Restaurant in Lafayette

I'm a regular here. I went in on Saturday 3/23/19. I played $.50 pull tabs 1 game-Family Joes. I put $20 in 4 times and hit random winners- $20's and $5's. On the 4th time I put a $20 in, the first 6 cards were Family Joes, the rest were Joe Bootie. I contacted the owner, Jason, to let him know there were 2 separate games in one slot. Family Joe should have been a last sale since the game ended- last sale is $200 return and no cards were marked for last sale. Jason stated they were the same games even though they were named differently, different color, and different serial # and form #. I have looked up the rules set by the state of IN for pull tabs and Jason is in the wrong. I have asked for Jason to make things right with no answer back. If this is not rectified by tomorrow, I will be contacting someone to complete an investigation and make things right. It's simple-admit your mistake and pay what you owe me -$200 out of the $1010 profit you make off of that particular game. Please make this right and I will change my review and come back in and spend my $200/week. You say you come in and leave as a member of the family, yet I'm not being treated like family. So the 1 star is for the tenderloin sandwich I ordered! It was absolutely delicious!! HOWEVER. If I had to rate solely on service, unfortunately, I wouldn't want to leave any starts. Which stinks, because I definitely don't enjoy leaving negative reviews but honesty is best. We went in on St Patrick's day apparently during a shift change at the bar. Our first server left so we ended up with the new one who never once acknowledged us as we sat at the bar. I won't go into all the details, long story short, we sat for over 25mins waiting to be acknowledged. The new lady behind the bar made eye contact with us several times. My Aunt went to the server for help and she sent her right back up to the bar. No help. Finally I got up and stood right by where people picked up the to go orders and paid. Mind you, it was right at my seat. She helped 3 people as I stood there. Looked at me and went to the kitchen!!!!!! I had to holler at her to get her attention..:Excuse me.? It was...

We had a group of 7 here for Sunday brunch and one of out group ordered the German Omelet, which the menu says comes with a side of potatoes. She was changed $.99 for the potatoes. She characterized her meal as "unremarkable."

I wanted the steak and eggs that was on their Sunday Brunch specials menu, and the menu said two eggs sunny side up. I said "could I get the eggs over medium?" The answer was no. Plenty of other eggs on the menu that could be made to order, but not the ones with the steak. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, and the gravy was a C- grade.

Another member of our group ordered the ham & eggs, which the menu said was $12.99, but for some reason the waitress could not explain, his bill had the $12.99 charge, and toast added $2.99, and also the potatoes were $3.99 added.

Also, they seemed quite a bit understaffed. We got menus at the start, but no attention from the wait staff for nearly 20 minutes.

I don't think we'll be coming back...
