Lagrange Community Park — Attraction in LaGrange

Stopped here on a long road trip with two dogs. We experienced so much here on one little walk! A great park!

We saw a wee baby groundhog who was so cute!

While we were on the edge of the park we were surprised by a train going past. My dogs loved to watch trains roll by, so this was an unexpected treat. We met other dogs, kids on bikes, friendly people … easy to see this is a well-loved park by the locals.

I really liked all the benches and doggy bag boxes. But one had a bird nest in it complete with eggs! Maybe you guys need to install some bird nesting boxes? 😆

The bois really liked all the soggy areas, of course.

Lots of soccer field areas but wet and potentially muddy. Severe lack of parking if baseball or softball or soccer game is happening. Small playground not all abilities accessible and it's usually over run by older kids when games are going on who have no parents overseeing them. Nice pavilions to have lunch/dinner under. Nice...

While you will likely only visit LaGrange Community Park for a soccer game, they do offer other amenities such as a pond, covered picnic area, and modern playground equipment. So if you're looking to host an outdoor gathering or you just need to take the kids to get some energy out, it is a well taken care...
