It's a cool thing to see, but doesn't take more than 10 minutes. There's no plaque or anything to do around it. You just kind of see it and that's it. I spent more time sitting close to it and taking in the quiet beach. I hope this beach stays quiet, this tower has been making the rounds on Instagram, and that is going to draw people to it. I imagine if it gets too overcrowded, they may make the beach private or something.

You do have to take stairs to get to it, and there is no close parking. I had to park on Highway 1 and walk 5 minutes to get here. Google Maps will take you to the neighborhood in which this is located, but I didn't find any parking in the neighborhood itself.

I brought my drone thinking I could get some cool footage of the tower, but I did see a No Drones sign when coming to the bottom of the stairs.

All in all, cool stop if you're in the area, would not recommend you go out of your way just...

This location is absolutely beautiful and impossible to beat. The tower itself was built in 1926, but it looks like it could’ve been there for hundreds of years. It’s a beautiful site to see and the backdrop with the ocean behind it is a truly great combination. It’s on the rocks above Victoria Beach, and to get there you will have to walk down a short set of steep steps to get to the beach. It’s not very difficult but this may be challenging if you have mobility issues. There aren’t any parking spaces available in the neighborhood above the beach so the best thing to do is to park off PCH or on it.

I would recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area because it’s always a great day when you go down to the ocean, especially when you get to see a...

Here's a concise review suitable for Google Reviews:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pirate Tower - A Hidden Coastal Treasure

The Pirate Tower is a magical hidden gem along the Laguna Beach coastline. Visiting feels like stepping into a fairytale, with the tower's mysterious, medieval look and its picturesque location by the ocean. The hike to the tower is scenic, and once you arrive, the views are simply breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot for photos or just to enjoy the serenity of the sea.

Keep in mind, the tower is tucked away, so it might take a bit of effort to find, and you should check the tide schedule to ensure safe access. But once you do, it’s absolutely worth it. If you’re in Laguna Beach, don’t miss out on this unique and...

Next after a pirate turns 79 he’ll turn matey. There’s a hidden pirate tower in Laguna Beach. Did you know about it? It’s 60 feet tall, and built in 1926 for a Los Angeles Senator. Later, a retired naval captain bought it and would use it to make scavenger hunts for kids. The home has since been sold several times, but the skeleton key always comes with it - yep, you can go in the tower, but only with a key. Bette Midler once owned the house. You have to go on a little bit of adventure to get to it. I’m a huge the journey is half the fun kind of person, so the getting there is also worth it. And, as for the getting there… Park at 2700 Victoria Drive. You can find parking along the sides of the streets. Depending on the day, you might have to park sort of far away from beach access. We went in the winter, so got super close parking. Don’t go/you can’t get there if it’s high tide. Once you’ve parked, you to descend the stairs and you’ll find yourself making your way down to the beach. There are two access points, one directly on the beach side, and one on the other side of the street that goes under the road, which we took. Once you’ve landed on the beach, turn to the right. There are some small cliffs there that you can walk up to. Make sure you’re wearing shoes that can get wet and are good for climbing - my friend tried barefoot and it hurt too much. From there, you’re gonna just keep walking straight over the rocks. You’ll see a house with a tiny castle in their yard about halfway through, and then boom, you’ll have come upon the tower! From there you kind of stare at it and just say, cool tower. Would you visit this? . . . #laguna #lagunabeach #orangecounty #explore #exploration #datenight #thingstodo #activities #california
