⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A literal dream. I never wanted to leave.
Le Petit Pali was such a godsend after a long, delayed travel day flying in from Hawai'i. I landed late at LAX, drove to Laguna in the dark, and arrived exhausted. Walking up to this hotel at night already felt magical. Even before I saw it in daylight, it had already exceeded my expectations (which were high, thanks to all the TikToks).
Everything is curated to perfection. The vibe is like stepping into a Wes Anderson movie set. It's charming, intentional, and aesthetically flawless. Ken at the front desk greeted me and my two girlfriends so warmly, even though we checked in so late. He offered us champagne (a thoughtful touch!! I don’t drink, but my friends appreciated it and finished them before we got to the rom lol). There were fresh cookies already in our room when we arrived, which saved us, we were starving!
The king bed easily fit the three of us (small girls), and the room was immaculate. The sheets were spotless, the water pressure in the shower was literally better than my house, and the shampoo and conditioner were legit luxury quality. The windows actually able to be opened, which I loved, especially coming from Hawai'i where we always let the breeze in.
We were only there two nights for a friend’s wedding, and I truly wish it had been 20 nights. The whole place had this peaceful, relaxed energy. It was a sophisticated, millennial crowd with good taste and good vibes. It wasn’t full of small kids, which helped it feel really quiet and grown-up in the best way.
Breakfast in the morning? Insane. The croissants were huge (literally bigger than my laptop) and still warm. The pastries are from a local bakery and they don’t skimp. I met Mo during breakfast and he was so sweet, we even made friends just chatting at the counter. The whole place felt like staying at an auntie’s house in Laguna, so intimate, cozy, and genuinely kind!!
Even after checkout, the staff let us store our bags, use the restroom to freshen up post-beach, and treated us like family even though our stay was technically over. That meant a lot. So much aloha
Read moreMy husband and I booked LPP bc we had a maternity photoshoot in Laguna. We arrived in the evening and the room we received wasn’t properly cleaned. There was hair on top and in the bed and in the shower, a spider climbing down from the bathroom ceiling, a roach, and gnats (including on top of the fresh cookies that were delivered to the room before our arrival). Although we tried to clean up as much as possible, we couldn’t get comfortable (especially me being 9 months pregnant). We asked the front desk for assistance after couple a few times around midnight. ||||We moved to a new room at midnight and it was only marginally better. It was on the second floor. When we went into the room all of the windows were open so there were flying bugs in the room. Once we took care of those, we found hair again — on top and in the bed and in the shower. Although we were uncomfortable, our only option was to stay there or drive back home to LA (1 hour + away) in the middle of the night and return really early for our photoshoot. We decided to ultimately clean up what we could to make it through the night. It was such an uncomfortable stay and I barely slept 4 hours. ||||We were told someone would contact us in the morning to discuss everything but that didn’t happen. When we checked out we had to explain the situation again. That person apologized and told us that the property manager Shaq would be calling us since he wasn’t in the day we checked out. It has been a few days since we left and still haven’t heard from anyone at LPP. We definitely will not recommend this place and won’t be staying...
Read moreTraveling and selecting accommodations at any time in one’s life typically entails some modicum of research, planning and scheduling and a huge amount of faith and trust in the property one ultimately selects. In this spirit, I selected a property based upon what was presented on the website and the customer service I received from the property’s reservations agent over the phone, which, in truth, was lovely. Upon arrival it was a huge disappointment - the room was in disrepai and should not be sold - and for just an overnight there was no time to waste in researching and booking a new accommodation. |Enter Ben at Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach. |He sensed my frustration and assured me that he was happy to wait for me and support me through an arduous process of booking online with him through a third party - an exercise in futility, ultimately, and in sincere compassion and sympathy Ben walked me through booking directly with him for what had turned out to be one of my best get away trips ever! Ben - the premier front desk guest agent and who wears all hats! - and Michaela, Michael, the Bartender, and everyone we encountered at this GORGEOUS, immaculate, fun property have exuded the highest level of customer service from beginning to end and we can’t wait to come back. Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach is now our home away from home, complete with family we want to hang out with! ☺️ Thank you to all at Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach. Be blessed and...
