Top of the World — Attraction in Laguna Beach

Wonderful to have open and accessible area with plenty parking for all time enjoy. If your living in Orange County, visiting this place is a must do for weekends with family and friends. If you have visitors from out of area, again this is a great place to take them. If put are visiting OC, then put this in your itinerary to go. On a clear day from the ocean side you will see San Pedro to Dana point Pacific coast. You will see the Catalina island and more, may be Japan or China!! Juat kidding. The other side the Saddleback mountain and the Sierra's. The Orange County and the vast, vast developed area, almost no more room for development!! And you have the Laguna beach top of the world hiking trails. Easy, mild, hard, one hour, two hours and may be up to 8 hours of well maintained trails. The trails go thru the natural open areas all the way to Aliso Viejo natural parks. You can easily make a morning hike and exploring time and then driving down to the center of Laguna beach, with wonderful eateries for light or well prepared breakfast or brunch, may be a cup of coffee and another hour of stroll along the...

Depending on difficulty and experience, you can choose from a range of trails, from easy ones to enjoy with family or friends to more challenging ones. 🐕 - Dogs are allowed. Not many hiking places allow dogs. "Top of the world" is dog-friendly, and dogs enjoy it too. Hikers clean up after their dogs, keeping the trails clean.

Cons: 🚗 - Parking is difficult. The parking lot is small, so you might not find a spot immediately. Street parking is an option, but it might be far or not allowed in some areas. 🚴 - Bicycles can be dangerous. With many cyclists around, there's a risk of collision while hiking.
