This park is great! I’m very picky about parks because a lot of them seem to be designed terribly, but this one checks all my boxes, as a mom to a toddler. There’s a large field between the playground and the parking lot which provides a heightened level of security for kiddos running around. I don’t fear that someone is going to drive up and snatch a kid because there’s not an opportunity for them to drive right up to the playground. The bathrooms aren’t exactly great, but it’s a public park...so what do you expect. The playground also has adequate shade so it’s not super hot during the summer months. I wish the swings had shade, though, because the swings get VERY hot in the summer months. They’re practically unusable during the heat of the day. The walking trail is a nice length and there are plenty of pick-nic tables with shade for good social-distancing while also enjoying the outdoors. All around, great park compared to others...

The Park includes: 2 baseball diamonds, a large field of grass, a playground for children, a sand pit equipped with volleyball netting, several picnic tables with concrete cutting boards, trash cans, waterfountains for drinking, benches also encompassing the park is a walking trail with signs and stations for exercise, and public restrooms(this is the reason I gave a 4 star rating because the bathrooms are disgusting-can the city increase the number of times per day they clean them?)

It offers a nice 1/3(roughly) circle to walk, benches and tables for a nice outdoor lunch, playgrounds for kids of all ages, and surprisingly little issues with native lake transients living off whatever lives in the lake.
