The Clarion at Brazosport College — Attraction in Lake Jackson

What a wonderful building. The acoustic concert hall is very pristine with amazingly comfortable and spacious seating. The feature I like most of all is the majestic grand entrance. The floor to ceiling windows help broadcast accent lighting onto the meticulously well placed statue of The Spirit of Music. The statue towers extremely high above its viewers and demands attention as you enter the building. Its virtuous presence emits a mystical sensation that is sure to convince its patrons that it has been bestowed upon them from the abyss of the wide open sky. An amazing concert hall that presents a variety of awesome programs. Easy parking near the front entrance. Comfortable seats. The Brazosport Symphony Orchestra concert on Saturday was incredible, especially the smaller chamber group that was featured in the first half. The cello soloist was a wonderful surprise. Very clean and great atmosphere. We went for a Craig Morgan concert and it was very laid back and comfortable. A couple things to know are there is no photos or recording allowed of performances (or maybe just concerts not 100% sure) and there is no food or drink allowed. However, they do have water fountains if you need it. All in all it was a great experience and we plan to attend many more...
