Marquette (Jacques) Park — Attraction in Lake Township

I have lived in the area for nearly 6 years and attend this park for many activities: soccer games, golfing, thejthe driving range, going for a walk, the playground, the splash pad, I've even held my daughter's first birthday here. I've gotta admit in seeing the playground for the first time recently, it was very disappointing. There are so many holes and cracks that clearly haven't been maintained for years that could very easily harm a child. All the while, the beautiful golf course is maintained very well each year, so it's not an issue about money. I'm hoping this review comes to the attention of the park manager to make some improvements in the maintenance and supervision of the playground - so many kids play at this park and God forbid somebody gets hurt due to negligence of something that could have easily...

Staffers are horrible, customer service is disasterous, there's never a manager around for somebody in charge to assist you at all. They Are VERY VERY Impatient with you. You Never can. Never Speak Their Director OR No Supervisor , No Manager They're always out, there always busy and trust me. I have tryed there several times call several times left messages nobody never calls you back they very seldom cut the grass out there especially for the holidays when you're trying to have a good time with your family and they definitely don't clean any bathrooms the bathrooms are so filthy and so nasty and they have a certain time to open and clean the bathrooms that time never exist they always open the bathrooms late and they close them much early. I Will Never Return...

I remeber my family throwing parties here in the early 90's, heck even then it was starting to get bad. This park has gone from bad to worse. Decided to take my son to the playground yo relive memories, bad idea. Let me tell you it was my last time doing so. People smoking drugs, foul language, and uneducated people all around. Im sure theres wonderful people here, but looks like these people ruin it for the rest of us. One kid hit my son and took off with his bike. When we went to ask for it, his mother got loud and violent. What a shame. How times have...
