Red Snapper Marquette — Restaurant in Lake Township

Because I’m hungry, because I don’t have a lot of time to argue the point, I’m going to place pen to paper.. usually, I find the place good, but today, I ordered the 6 piece leg/thighs. I ALWAYS decline lemon pepper or any other kind of seasoning… (the food is salty ENOUGH!) get my order, why is there salt/pepper all over the food. Yes, I’m Black, but I prefer my food a certain way. MATTER of FACT when I eat here, I consider myself to be slumming! But it’s quick, tasty and as I stated good. So I return it to have it redone, and they PLACED ALREADY COOKED FRIED CHICKEN, BACK IN THE GREASE and as you can tell by the OVERCOOKED thigh, that I’m not lying! I know that due to the clientele they serve, this review will be over looked. But I’m not going to tell the people that have exquisite taste, not to come, because we don’t ALWAYS want to spend 50- 100 dollars on a meal, but do want something satisfying and quick! But what I will say is, I will give the store another opportunity to keep a customer that visits on a regular, AND TIP, I may add… but the next review will not be this forgiving and I will not hold back on...

So the other night, we came to this location placed an order and waited patiently for the food. It wasn't a busy night but people came in after us. As they came, they got their food and left. I waited, until I realized that I hadn't been called to get my food yet. Now they give you a number which they call when your order is ready. So I ask about the order and I'm told that the food was never prepared.

There were two ways to handle this situation: they saw me waiting and could have asked me what my order was before I approached them and proceeded to make this work for everyone involved or they could've apologized for the delay and dropped the food then. Either way, no apology was made and I waited for nothing. The customer service here is the terrible. The workers argued about the mixup instead of fixing the problem. I prepared a Dinner for the Church Choir 59th year Anniversary, in which I prepared, Cabbage Greens, Cheesy Spaghetti, Baked Chicken Potato Salad, Mac & Cheese and Chicken and Dressing. So I thought I would get a little help from a restaurant in cooking Fried Chicken for me, in which close in the neighborhood. If I could i would attach a picture of what they sent me. Chicken of Death, No Life and not good to serve at all, I had I known I would've fried chicken myself. When calling and talking with them, there replay was that it was requested, in which it wasn’t at all. Not just that, I requested my for a 12:30 p.m. pickup and it was not ready, when I called to inquire about my order and the person answering the phone attitude not pleasing when my order wasn’t ready when it was time for me to serve dinner.
