This Team Pain design is well-executed and maintained and offers a diversity of terrain. I only had a quick visit before closing but plan to hit it again while in town.
The Intermediate bowl has a very well placed mogul that is the centerpoint for lots of carving options. The concrete is very smooth and the radii are all flawless.
The deeper bowl is a slightly taller version of the green bowl at SK8 CHS. I didn't skate it yet for fear of the lights going out automatically (as stated on the sign at the entrance).
I will nit pick the snake run a bit. It's pretty narrow and relatively steep. This makes it hard for me to pump back out. Maybe this was a prototype for the wider and flatter version at SK8 CHS?
I'm not the guy to advise you on street features, but there seemed to be plenty, including a nice china bank.
The gentleman manning the park was great. He said they routinely blow the leaves out. He checked the bowls prior to closing (at my home park they don't look--if you got injured and couldn't get out, you'd spend the night down there.) He was also patient and polite with the younger guys who were slow to leave. And, the lights don't appear to go off automatically, which is really nice from a safety POV. The automatic lights at my home park once went off 35 minutes early while I was rolling into a 6-footer.

Read moreThis was really a great park to visit. the children loved the playground and the skate park was clean and there were people of all ages.
Edit to add: we visited on a wednesday evening and I do want to note that I believe the maintenance crew may have sprayed the park with what smelled like a pesticide and that was concerning to me especially with small children. I would like to encourage the parks team to use a less toxic product (dare I even think a "natural" one?) if they used something like RoundUp since little but rapidly developing human bodies play there and are more susceptible when exposed to these toxic products. If the playground area was sprayed, was it later rinsed off before the park opened?
I believe San Francisco banned RoundUp in public spaces ...can we do something like...
