I came to this campus to see the Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. Although they looked great from afar, the condition of the buildings was disgraceful. The buildings are crumbling apart and look like they might just come down on top of you. I would think they would try to keep these buildings from rotting and crumbling away but everywhere you turn, there is damage and mold. It is so sad to see. They need a ton of money to be poured into constant maintenance of these buildings 365 days of the year. I would not send my children to this school for fear the roof will collapse upon them while attending class.

Went today to visit Florida Southern College to go on a basic tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed building. It was $35 per person for a 60-90 minute tour. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide that showed us inside 3 separate buildings on property, along with walking us through the property explaining the design history behind the campus. Overall it was very amazing to see this historic property still being maintained and properly preserved to this day. It’s hard in central Florida to find such history in architecture.

I don’t have much to contribute as far as the educational portion of this location, but the historical architecture is another story. If you’re a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright or architecture in general, you will find numerous gems practically on top of one another. Unfortunately, the structures are in poor condition. Still worth taking a peak.

THE ONLY REDEEMING THING ABOUT THIS COLLEGE IS THE PROFESORS!!! This college absolutely does not care about their students. I have literally done everything in my power to get in contact with this college to get my questions answered about an error in my billing. They first said they didn't see the error whatsoever and that it must be something wrong on my end, but then said later that I WAS being charged for it because I didn't pay for my tuition of last semester. This was also proven wrong and caused me to completely change schools because of an error that they didn't resolve and refused to look back into. I am so disappointed because all the teachers I had in my 1st and only year there was amazing, I loved every single one of them.

Not only is there an issue with the faculty there, the housing is ABISMOLE!!!! There was centipedes during he whole 1st semester of my stay at Nicholas. In other dorms there is mold, walls with huge holes, broken public facilities in dorms, and so much more. Also you have to provide your own resources like toilet paper and soap for the bathroom.

The bathrooms are not cleaned really; all that is done is the toilet is cleaned and the sink is wiped down. In my whole year of stay at FSC not once was the shower or floor cleaned. There was mold at the corners of the shower floor and the drain would repeatedly clogged because all the hair in the drain.

There's so much more wrong with this school and this is just the start and I'm furious that I was unable to stay because I really did love the education that was being provided and all the cool events they had for the students. But this is completely overshowed with...

The campus overall is beautiful (the building super old and indoor seating outdated). The instructors are quite good and the education received is decent. My concern isn’t so much with the appearance or instructors personally, it is with the covid policies FSC as a whole has implemented and how the classroom instruction is handled. Several of my courses we are forced into groups of 4 and mainly doing group work while the delta variant still continues to rapidly spread. My husband is immune compromised but I still have to participate in these groups while the instructors are able to stand behind the plexiglass they are provided to keep them safe. Furthermore there is little social distancing in classes as students are side by side at the same tables. The FSC cares plan also allows for students who are vaccinated but asymptotic to be in school and not quarantine even if testing positive. How is this right?? I’m disappointed with how the school is handling the safety of students as well as the loved ones that students are going home to (especially...

There was a lot to see on this tour. The dozen or so Wright-designed buildings on this campus are now 60 to 80 years old, excluding the Usonian house, and are in various states of repair so one can observe how the buildings have aged and get a sense of the tremendous amount of time, money and dedication it takes to maintain these inspiring works of architecture. Our tour guide, Jack, was terrific! A very knowledgeable and engaging person. He had answers to every question we asked and we asked a lot. I encourage anyone interested in architectural history to take the time to visit this National Historic Landmark. You'll love it! Thanks to Jack for a very informative and interesting tour, and to Florida Southern Collège for passionately preserving this fabulous...
