Lakewood Habitat for Humanity Store — Attraction in Lakewood

I'll give 2 stars because the employees are decent most the time. I have been there several times when the employee is acting like they're doing their community service hours there. Most their items are extremely over priced, I stopped by to get a few Bungie cords Id seen last time I was there and these guys had the audacity to have these Bungie cords priced at $3 each. Considering the fact that the Bungie cords were givin freely to habitat for humanity you'd think they wouldn't be so greedy and price the used bunnies at more than they cost at the store in the first place. I know your probably thinking it was accidently priced that, but no I asked. And if it were just this occasion I wouldnt even be saying anything. It's not though. I needed to, all the sudden, buy some bunk beds (my daughter's son was taken by cps and they let him go to my son's home who also has a 3yro). I don't have a lot of money and truthfully couldn't afford it but I wasn't gonna let my grandson not have a bed right after his mom is taken from him at that. So i say let me check habitat for humanity and don't you know they had 3 sets of bunk beds, yeah. The nicest set they wanted $300. The other 2 we're very similar to each other and that is bare wood with maker and stickers all over em. They were $250, none of them came with the mattresses. I went on offer up and got free bunk beds w/mattresses thats better that their $300 set. It doesn't stop there but I will. I just wanna ask isn't habitat for humanity supposed to be this place that helps out the less fortunate? When I asked if I could buy one of the sets for $150 she acted like I was asking for her personally to give me them for free, like go into her own bedroom, dismantle her own bed and come give it to...

It was ok. Customer service wasn't very attentive I know greets no can I help you nothing I was there for a specific item that I called about prior to getting there and I saw one of the ladies and I said I just called for Daddy gotta and she said oh yeah and she pointed clear across the store and up into a corner and said I would find it up there I needed some assistance asking about paints I didn't get any until I had to holler out as I waited at the register for over 5 Minutes Alone I had to yell for someone to cash me out and finally a lady came out from behind a yes tiled high with however the store was very organized except for the back in receiving which I thought was an area to shop for anything but I started to walk towards the end and a buzzer went off. Selection is minimal compared to Tacoma if you're looking for flooring or tile definitely skip Lakewood if you'd like furniture and dishes and glasses...

This has become one of my main places to go for the Oddball for hard to find products related to Construction and remodeling everything from flooring deals. To also great pricing on paint and staining products you may also find yourself in Need for home appliances as well which they have if you are in need of a specialty Fastener such as nuts bolts screws the hard to find true hot dipped gallery and sinkers and many other Nails which are in my opinion not worth one red Cent when purchased most places out of a small one pound box don't waste your time or money on that come get a real nail and some sinkers that you can actually...
