A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Lakewood

I will not be going back...Very Frustrating interaction. I pulled up to the drive thru and they asked what I wanted so I ordered. I asked for a Combo meal without pickle or onions. I heard a rustle on the mic a giggle and they asked me what I wanted again. I repeated my order specifically an A5 Combo with no onions or pickles with a sprite. Again a rustle, giggles, laughing then silence. Then again I was asked what I wanted. I tried to order again but was cut off by them talking to whoever in the background. I said "that's three times I am done". They laughed hysterically almost rejoicing and said have a nice evening as I drive away. It seems like they do this on purpose to not have to make a special ordered burger (I have heard this is a tactic they use as laziness) or they were doing whatever inappropriate things and not doing the job they are payed to do. The lady at the counter was nice and the employees were nice. However, they royally messed up our order. We got our drinks, no ice. We went to get soda, not carbonation. We got our food, missing a meal. We got all the meals finally, forgot the sauce. Finally got everything and when we got home, my burger was not the burger I ordered. My boyfriend’s bacon burger had one slice of bacon. My daughter ordered two drum sticks, she didn’t receive that. I’m a manager at a fast food spot so I understand that mess ups happen and people get busy. But this was to many mess ups. Fast food is not that cheap anymore so to pay 50$ for drinks we can’t drink, for food we wanted but didn’t receive.. it’s frustrating. Actually it shows A&W but my visit was KFC, they offer both at this location which is very convenient. Service was excellent as always, drive thru tonight. Although the drive thru was a bit precarious do to snow and ice. Was difficult getting to the window as my car wanted to take out that part of the building, so back up try again, nope and again, nope. Guy in car behind me gets out and says straighten out you wheels, no...ya think. That's what I had been doing. Of course that didn't work AGAIN, LOL. So I went with gut instinct, go with the slide, it was a bit hairy but I made it and with the guy behind me physically pushing my car it was also entertaining. He did help and I thanked him. Oh shoot I'm supposed to be talking about chicken, it's alright, KFC is still good and I am enjoying it now. HAPPY NEW...
