Walgreens — Attraction in Lakewood

I love this location and I go here often. This location is always clean and always open, due to the 24hr operation. They have a great staff and are always willing to go out of their way to help you. Jacob the 3rd shift manager is always very patient with my wife, who is always looking for the next great deal, clipping coupons and going thru sale adds, and everytime we check out he always listens to everything she says about what the coupons are and always resolves her concern by just giving her what she believes she is supposed to be getting... By the time we are done checking out, I need a cold beer and a nap! It's always an adventure, let me tell you! But Jacob is still acting like she is the only person that matters, and that says a lot about a person who takes the time to make you feel important and make sure that you feel satisfied with the outcome of your concerns... We will definitely return to this location...

A clerk named Gina should spend less time being rude to her customers and more time working. She is one of the worst employees in this store. Many have complained to the Walgreen's Corporate Office about her and the entire Lakewood Community who shops at this store location would be much happier if she was terminated. Gina has certainly tarnished the reputation of this store and customers and their families now refuse to shop there because of Gina. She eats constantly from the foods/candies from this store because she never works. Walgreens should reconsider keeping Gina on as an employee. Gina could at least pick up the candy wrappers that she throws on the floor but I suppose she does that because she's too lazy to throw the wrappers in the trash can. My prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy by the doctor’s office. Once I found which pharmacy it was located I immediately went to this Walgreens located on West 117th street, attempted to pick up but was unable to due to insurance reasons. The chubby pharmacy tech with red hair and glasses informed me she will transfer to my pharmacy. This was on 4/9/25 at 12pm. After resting, I called my pharmacy at 7pm to check the status. They never received. I had to call again to ask for my prescription to be sent. My prescription wasn’t available until 8:30pm that day. It was an inhaler and I was having difficulty breathing. So between the doctors office dropping the ball to the Pharmacy Tech at Walgreens I was certain they wanted me to roll over and die because how does that happen twice??
