I love this event as young I could remember. Even before I could walk. These people really know how to party! Kind, gentile, charitable neighbors. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Tons of fun! Really know how to get down. Brighten up spirits! This area is always blessed with whimsical people from around this district and many others from other cities like Philadelphia and some from the other half of Pennsylvania. Some come as far as from New Jersey and New York; Maine and New England. Some even come around this time during Autumn Soltice from the north, from the country Canada! It's extra fun sometimes to see any Mummers especially for the little ones who can't go out during the winter times, because it's too cold and might rain icey, sleet or snow. Or their parents are too busy then. Parking is terrible a lot in the city of Philadelphia all year round and attempt too be way too bougie. Then you end up being exhausted before to get to place you going to enjoy to soak in and taken in scenery and breath. Come to this place instead. I love when I was a kid and see kids in face paint. This place has trend it first! They were way ahead of their game. (◠‿◕) Love all the arts and crafts you can find and get to know new store pop up and new discounts! Some times they have tattoo artist come around! I very much enjoy that and any band merch stuff too! It's different every time. One thing is guaranteed to be there is great foods and produces! Everyone loves this area when it comes to parades, but that is at a different time and that varies from year to year. In the winter time parking I know for certain is free and the county has people tie it to the poles from the bridge down to the Wawa store. This area is great! 🎉 I stan ♥️ Lansdowne...
Read moreThe produce is pretty good and a lot of the staff are typically friendly. what I'm not a big fan of is that no one really has the FMLA sign up so that I know if they accept Farmers market checks or not... I went up to one rumored that was selling a lot of vegetables and fruit and they told me they're not accepting FMLA yet..I thought everyone they're accepted the farmers markets checks if they sell produce. One of the mainadvocates for the vendors was a little bit confused by that too. I'd hate to think anyone was...
Read moreI had the pleasure of attending the Lansdowne Festival this past Saturday. There were a few food trucks, vendors, live music and the shops were opening for business from 6-10 PM.
I purchased a bottle of Unk Tik's Hot BBQ sauce, a bottle of Valpolicella from Mitchell & Mitchell Wines and a Patti Labelle album from Vinyl Records.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience this local...
