Lovely staff and a nice shop, but the prices have shot up lately. Picked up a few items (small tin container, ceramic bowl with a lid) expecting maybe $1 at most and they were $15 apiece. It feels very tacky to see eBay/Etsy listings printed out and taped to items when those eBay listings presumably were not donations. Maybe this store purchases their inventory as well, hence the prices? I used to stop in and spend $20-$30 on a few things, but no longer really consider this a thrift shop. Most items are priced like antiques. That being said, I love the fact that they support local charities and try to stop in when I have a bit extra I can afford to spend. I will also say, the snide and passive aggressive responses to negative reviews that arenāt rude are⦠interesting for a store that has all kinds of religious signs and references to Jesus. Especially one where a person says theyād like to come in because of an insult they heard a store employee use, and the store replied āthank you!ā. I digress. Overall: yes, there are some free and cheap items, but the majority of items of value are overpriced to be considered thrifting. Antiques with Cheap + Free Items is a bit...

The free section is just crap. Like, broken mc.donalds toys - stained, holey, smelly clothing - books that are missing 20% of the pages. A yard sale has better "free" stuff than this place. I was too afraid to even touch anything!
The "cheap" stuff, isn't cheap....... No where near it. A Barbie car was there and I thought to myself as passing it, "that's worth $5, max". Out of curiousity I look at the price.... $40?!?! What the heck?! I googled it and on EBay it popped up at $30 in BRAND NEW condition. This car was dusty, damaged, and probably should've been in the "free" section.
Overall, this place makes my skin crawl. It's over priced. And the free section is just nasty, you wouldn't want to take ANY of it home - trust me. Employees are fine though. They don't bug you, and they say hello when you walk in so that's a plus........I guess. I'm sure it won't be long till they're out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called these people to pick up an old dryer I had in my basement and they forced it out the door and broke my door frame. When I asked SCOTT TOUPIN to repair it he was very rude and said "This wasn't even worth the trip" then drove away. I called him and told him I would split the cost of repair with him (the CHRISTian thing to do) but he refused and said he would bring a piece to fix the door. He brought something the completely wrong color and left it in my front yard. Now he will not return any of my phone calls. SCOTT TOUPIN should be ashamed of himself for using the word CHRISTIAN as marketing ploy to gain the trust of the public because he definitely does not behave like a Christian! I am sure he scrapped my dryer and got some money that he could have given to me to fix the damage. THANKS A LOT...
