Stopped in about 20 minutes ago. First girl came out to take our order and when she asked how we were paying I said every time I've been there EMS has been free. She said no she has never heard of such a thing, but she would go double check. A few minutes later a 2nd girl came out was extremely pleasant and nice, finished our order, and said our food would be out shortly. It wasnt a very long wait when a 3rd girl brought us our food. Her words, facial expressions, and body language were incredibly rude as she stated this would be the last time we receive free food. She stated the discount is only supposed to be for police and fire and us coming there is getting excessive. I have worked in Lansing for 2 years and this is only the 3rd time I have ever been there. We dont make very much money and when we are told you offer free food to EMS to show your appreciation for serving the community of course we are going to spread the word. Apparently just like most other businesses you don't care about the people who show up on your worst day and take you to the hospital. We are always the forgotten, sorry we dont carry guns and handcuffs or drive big red trucks with a firehose. Dont worry, I will never be back, and I will make sure all of my EMT and Paramedic friends know how we were treated. If you cant offer the discount that is not a problem, but there was no reason whatsoever to be so incredibly rude and to go as far as saying ambulance...
Read moreFood was great as usual BUT, that pregnant chick working there needs to either find a new job or drop the attitude because the attitude she gave us right from the start was enough where we won't be going back for the rest of the summer.
We started to place our order and was rudely snapped at and told one of the items we tried to order wouldn't be available until July...this is fine but the attitude she gave us over this was uncalled for. We proceeded to order and after each item we ordered, we were rudely asked within less than 2 seconds "IS THAT ALL?!" without even being given time to complete the rest of the order.
Due to the order being rushed in a very very rude manner, a couple items weren't even added onto the order we repeated to the lady THREE times and not wanting to get more attitude from her, we simply left it be and went elsewhere after finishing what she did manager to put on the order which was only half of what we were going to actually order.
I was going to let this go until the same chick comes outside to do an order with another customer at their vehicle and then as she's walking back to the building, she proceeds to scream at another customer who pulled in wrong or something. There was NO need for her behavior which was disgustingly ghetto. Trash like that doesn't deserve to be employed if they're going to have a ghetto attitude like that...
Read moreMy parents have been taking me here since i was about 7. In the past 10 yrs I've started taking my son as well. We also took my significant other for his 1st visit 2yrs ago & 2 days ago took his 2 kids, who promptly said "wait we eat in the car?" Followed by "Roxanne how come you've been holding out on us?" We all had a good chuckle out of that. Yes very old school style, pull up & park, press a buttom to place your order, they bring the food to your window, pay waitresses @ your window, (NO the don't do roller skates although they may have back in the day, parking lot needs to be updated or they'd just fall in it) when your done you drive around & they take your tray & trash. Very retro for all of you who don't truly know what retro is or aren't old enough to even call ANYTHING retro, sorry couldn't resist that one lol. Known for the Hammy Sammy, the onion rings are FABULOUS, Coney Dogs are good too. They have a different special every day of the week. Great greasy American drive up!! They also have a few picnic tables out back for when its warm enough to enjoy that as well. An...
