Avalon RV Resort — Attraction in Largo

If I could give this place a -10 stars, that's what it would be. The first year living there was good (when Helena was mgr), but when Pam Weeks took over as the Mgr it went down hill from there. First, if you are not "friends" with her, then she goes OUT OF HER WAY to harass you and write you up for anything and everything. First year she was Mgr, we were friends, til the day I stood up for myself with her concerning a 5 ft light post she put directly in front of our 5th wheel. We CANNOT get out of the already cramped space due to the post (we feel like hostages) and it shines directly in our bedroom window. When Pam was asked about this light (the ONLY 2 5 ft posts in the entire park are on our lot and both shines in our bedroom), Pam TOLD me I had to use the silver foam things in the windows. Wait, EXCUSE ME? I HAVE to? We have the RIGHT to keep our windows open all day and night for the fresh air. The minute I put a decorative door at the post, to block the light, Pam wrote me up for my climbing climatis (even though it has been there for 2 years). Then she wrote me up for having a small pool in my side yard (I did this cause they don't take care of their pool and water was green for over a week). Said I had to drain it every night, but yet last year during covid when it was in my yard as well, I was NEVER written up for not draining it (oh, we were friends back then). The LAST straw came when I brought our enclosed trailer over so that I could pack our things (yes, we're leaving cause of Pam), she wrote me up again for having it in the yard. She called to tell me to move it and when I told her I had pics of other trailers and boats in the yard, she became very aggressive. Said that parking my truck in front of the trailer wouldn't work (my truck was sideways in the drive and yard due to it's HUGE size and very small driveway). At 11 pm that night my truck and trailer was being towed. Both tow drivers told me that the Mgr there called it in as my truck being parked in the grass, so tow it. I had to pay $250 for them not to tow both. They also told me that the Mgr (Pam Weeks) told them that I was a crazy person and would come out screaming and probably with a gun and that she had been telling me for days to remove the trailer (ummmmm, just put it there that morning, with proof) the nerve of this woman, I actually had a good conversation with them, which is why they didn't tow them. I've contacted Joe Blaney, the district Mgr, concerning Pam's harassment the past year, even asking for our money back cause it was completely uncalled for... Joe has not got back with me (it's been 2 weeks). He's got to be just as useless as Pam. I do not ever recommend that you stay here. I contacted a past resident and she told me that when they were packing up to move, they had their enclosed trailer on their lot for 4 days and Pam never said a word to them... The Mgr, Pam Weeks, likes to harass you if you're not friends, she hates LGBT, and will flat out tell you that. She talks to residents about matters concerning other residents, which is WRONG. I'll post pics of other boats and trailers, she even let me park my truck and tow dolly with my daughters car on it in the yard for 2 days (I was moving her out of state), but we were friends back then. Once she dislikes you for any reason, you're HARASSED for anything. This childish, disrespectful Mgr needs to go. Lots of thefts in the park, no handicap in the bath house. This place is worse ever since Pam took over....

Called about a half hour before they were to close and booked a month. Showed up just before 5pm, and after I paid Pam tells me their wifi is wonky and for wifi that actually works, I'll need to goto the clubhouse. I'm not working from 8-5 in a clubhouse, sorry. I thought we'll I may just have to come out of pocket which I wasn't planning on doing and buying my own hotspot. Still keeping a positive attitude and giving them the benefit of the doubt, I think hopefully the site will be nice. I drive up to my site to park my RV and WHAT IN THE HILLBILLY GHETTO is going on around here? The spaces are so tight, the neighbors were bitching about moving stuff around just to get me in that little space. It was just me, a female, and a lot of males just standing around outside. Um yeah, after being spoiled at some of the nicer parks in the area....this hot mess of a park is just not going to work for me. And definitely not at Christmas time! So when I called Pam to tell her between the wonky wifi and the little teeny tiny knit site, it's just not for me. She said they are keeping a $100 a deposit. Now I knew absolutely nothing about a deposit. I called to book and I record all my phone calls. #1 Never once in the conversation did Pam mention a $100 deposit. #2 I never signed anything that mentioned a $100 deposit. #3 Nothing in the paperwork given to me says anything about a $100 deposit. So who exactly is agreeing to this deposit? Not Me! I told Pam, I can leave you bad reviews or you can give me back my deposit. Her choice. She said they'll be taking the deposit. So here I am! I can understand if I was booked out a week and someone could've taken the spot but I cancelled a half hour before I booked! Also, I just got off the phone with some friends of mine who use to live there and they can't believe I went there. They said., "we left there for a reason!" LOL. Anyway, just so you guys know, I'm not going away until I get my deposit back. These reviews aren't going away unless I get my deposit back. I have a Youtube channel with 30k subscribers. Guess what I'm going to be talking about this weekend. That's bad business if ya ask me and I got all night. I'll be waiting for...

My family was in this park a long time after my dad passed they tried to evict me while I was burying my father they didn't even give a grace period while I had the services I was only a few days late they try to steal the buildings when death happens whatch out youll be in court fast here they didn't get it or make it to court make sure the titles are ready to be exchanged if there's probate they'll acquire your unit pams a scam artist in the office trying all sorts of drama my grampa had a700$ deposit my dad died 2 months after he had a 700$ deposit they only sent one back and my grandfather. Helped out at every event and they really they kept my dad's deposit and charged me 700$ at thier mistake beware of this place all the homeless steal everything theres no fence in the back they walk through and take whatever they want lousy security at night avoid this place !! Thanks for 25 years hassle free from us yall didn't get to steal my place !!!!! Got me for 1400$ on the way out though when you try that expect this !! It'll cost you more in the long with bad...
