I ordered 4 ounce lobster tail with sirlion. The steak was cooked as ordered but the four ounce tail turned out to be less than two ounces. When I returned to restaurant to bring this to a managers attention the bartenders took it upon herself to play manager and told me that they offer pre-cooked weight of four ounces and I should expect that. I doubt you lose over half the weight in cooking. I couldn't believe she had the nerve to keep arguing this with me. I was about to ask her if she was a manager when she offered to get him for me. We sat there and had a drink while we waited and waited. He never came out. When we left I told Adriana P. 'Tell the manager we were touched by his concern for us as customers. Thanks'. She replied by telling me he was busy making the floor plan ( something he was not doing until 2 minutes before we left.) Turns out we had to walk past him on our way out, he was surrounded by servers. I don't think the bartender even told him, she acted like our problem was so small and stupid, like 'she took care of it'. I was very angry by then so we just left. I don't know that I would go back to this location. Really angers me when waiters and bartenders play manager, first thing you learn when in the business is to not handle the problem yourself (unless you CAN), get a manager. I can't believe we were treated like this. That manager should of come right out to speak to us as we were there a good 20 minutes waiting. Bartender rude and full of herself. Bad management for not addressing customer complaints. This was the first time we ordered pork chops at Longhorn. Never again, they were thin and dry. Lobster tail super small, not as advertised. My steak was good. ...
Read moreAs a party of 2 we were informed when we walked in that their system was down and we would have to pay cash or leave our credit card information. We were seated and brought drinks, then placed our meal order. A party of 2 and a party of 5 were then seated near us. As we waited for our meals we watched the party's of 2 and 5 seated after us receive their meals. I asked our waitress why our meals were delayed. She said she would see. As we were sitting near the kitchen, we then heard the discussion among the waitress and kitchen staff about our missing meals. It sounded like preparation of our meals hadn't even begun. The waitress returned and said our food would be right out. A couple minutes later, our salads were brought out, one of them was prepared incorrectly and had to be returned. A short while later, our meals were delivered, and the manager immediately followed. She apologized for the delays and asked if we were informed about the system being down. I told her yes but only how it would affect the way we pay. She proceeded to blame the delay on her staff and their inability to cope with the system outage even though she herself had dealt with these outages on a regular basis. She offered to pay for my meal which I refused because I did not want a handout. She asked if we would consider returning to the restaurant again, I told her "we'll see". She was visibly upset by this and walked away. Our food was delicious. The bill for our meals came, we paid cash and a...
Read moreWe went on Valentines day night (party of 2) around 8pm we didn't even think about it being a holiday and to make a reservation. When we got there it was packed and it was at least one hour wait. We gave them our phone number and waited close by. Before 9pm one of the servers came out and said if anyone would like to sit at the bar and eat then we can go in instead of waiting for a table. We took her up on that offer. Everybody that waited on us was nice and professional and accommodating. We ordered ribeye and New York strip along with salads french fries broccoli and Of course the free bread with butter. We also ordered 2 "perfect" margaritas sugar instead of salt. They are $10 each but they are big and you get the whole shaker with it. While my husband was eating he saw some seran wrap in his food but everything was so perfect he didn't want to tell the manager. So I informed her and she did compensate the entire $30 meal and offered to re make his whole rib eye but we declined. I brought my left overs home and the next day while I was eating them I got a crunchy bite that sort of made my body cringe like sand but hurt really bad. I spit it out into my hand and it was a black gravel rock. So even though everything was perfect we should not have found 2 gross items in our food. With the comped meal our bill was around 40 or 50$ we left a 21 $ tip to our...
