I have been doing escape rooms in the Tampa Bay for 8 years and I've tried tons of locations and rooms. This one by far was the best one. I did two rooms here, Lost Temple and Operation Blackstone. The design of the rooms was a lot more creative than some of the other ones in the area, and the puzzles actually made sense. (I cannot tell you how many escape rooms involve doing math, and the math makes absolutely no sense or is just plain wrong, and this is coming from a math teacher! Or there would be things in the room that were there to intentionally throw you off.) The difficulty levels of the rooms as reported were pretty accurate. You can tell time, money, and attention to detail were spent on these rooms. Making a reservation was so easy and the prices were pretty average for the area. Also, unlike other escape rooms, this one keeps an up-to-date leader board that doesn't just list the winners by the amount of time it took them; the scores also took into consideration the difficulty level you played and how many hints you needed. As an escape room enthusiast, here is my advice to people planning to book: the quality of an escape room will mean nothing if you don't pick great people to play with. Excellent escape rooms can be a flop if you aren't on a team of people you work well with. When I did the Lost Temple, I was with two people I didn't know super well and we beat it in 50 min. But when I did Operation Blackstone with my parents and two closest friends, we beat it in 29 min. Pick a good team so you can fully enjoy how intricate these rooms are!

Great Experience!! A friend gave us gift certificates (beautiful btw! shout-out to the graphic designer) for Christmas, and as escape room newbies we had no idea what we were in for! Sierra greeted us warmly & with great enthusiasm, she prepped us & gave us instructions for what to expect. Even took our pic before the time! We did the Jewel Heist room from The Hangover movie. Rooms are so cool! Being newbies we were stumped A LOT! But Sierra was always there to help us. We will definitely be back & bring friends!

First experience in checking out their games and it won't be our last! What a stellar job they did on The Lost Temple. Great backstory, theme and challenging puzzles. One component of this escape room will surely test a marriage. LOL! We even placed 8th on the 30-day leaderboard. Finally, I want to shout out Bridgette. She was excellent at getting us ready for our adventure. Had a blast and can't wait to come back for their additional experiences.

Our favorite escape in the area... We had a blast! The owners are clearly in this for a puzzle passion, and the game masters rock. The puzzles are ingenious, and the immersion/effects are quality without being so high-end that you can't plan a visit on a budget. My wife and I finished The Hatch with 12 minutes to spare. There is just a couple differences with the Enthusiast level, but the sense of accomplishment for them made it that much more memorable, even for the most experienced escapers. We came back with the whole family for Vegas, and from young to old (10-70), everyone found something to do while achieving a sense of accomplishment. Finally, be free, be silly, and have fun here... it really helps!

Update: So I have one criticism... we ran out of rooms! đŸ˜« We competed Operation Blackstone with the core family a couple months ago and just escaped from the Lost Temple, today. We are proficient escapers, but we really look for the puzzle variety and challenges. Escape FLA provides this in spades! And the staff, particularly Bridgette and Sierra, just made the whole experience all the better with their own love of puzzles, engagement, and positive energy. We love how attentive they are as game masters, ready to give just the right nudge when you're stuck. Finally, we appreciate their point system that goes into the leader boards. Rather than just time remaining, a team score accounts for clues used, time spent, number of players, and bonus opportunities along the way. For us, from most satisfying and enjoyable to slightly less satisfying and enjoyable: Temple, Vegas, Blackstone,...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Heist escape room at EscapeFL, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! From the moment we entered the building, we were greeted with warm smiles and enthusiastic staff who truly made us feel welcome. Their friendliness only added to the excitement as we embarked on our thrilling adventure.

The Heist itself is an incredibly well-designed escape room, with clever puzzles that truly challenged our wits and problem-solving skills. The immersive atmosphere pulled us right into the narrative, making us feel as if we were really part of a high-stakes heist. The room was filled with intricate details and hidden surprises that kept us engaged throughout the entire experience.

What truly sets EscapeFL apart, however, is their commitment to making the experience enjoyable for players of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned escape room enthusiast or a first-timer, the Heist offers just the right balance of difficulty and fun. The staff was always available to offer hints when needed, ensuring that no one ever felt stuck or overwhelmed.

Overall, I cannot recommend EscapeFL and the Heist escape room highly enough. It's a fantastic way to spend an evening with friends, family, or even coworkers, testing your teamwork and communication skills. EscapeFL has truly created an unforgettable experience that will leave you eager to come back and try their...
