Largo Community Center — Local services in Largo

Not very inviting. Went there to use to just use the wifi and relax away from the heat outside and got treated like a dog that doesn't belong there.

I noticed the empty Rooms/Lounge (mid-day 12 pm, slow time) room to get out of the way of the people walking through only to be approached by the staff and walked back to the front counter to be ID in the system and logged in, which is fine because I am a Resident of Largo and pay the monthly/yearly fees for the Rec center.

But then was told I would have to purchase a room to use the wifi here again?!

What?!

But most of your rooms are empty and your literally have room called "Lounge"! What a waste of space!

What's the point of a Community Center if the Community of Largo is treated like a peasant to profit off of?!

Maybe this is a privately owned club? I don't know because this doesn't really feel like a community...

We had a baby shower for 30 people at the Largo Community Center and I highly recommend using the center for any special occasion party or gathering. The service was exemplary, Christina Lorenz, Manager made sure every detail was covered. I attend the craft & chatter and love it! Nice friendly people. The facilities are accommodating and very clean, staff are great and helpful I can’t understand why there would a rude unprofessional person working at the front desk!
