Whiskey Wings Largo — Restaurant in Largo

We have found our new place!!! After several (I waited to make sure it wasn’t a one-off) fantastic experiences at Whiskey Wings in Largo; yes, this particular location, I had to write and share my experiences! This place is truly a gem!! If you are a sports enthusiast, foodie, or love live music, they have it all! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by the big-screen TVs that provided a front-row seat to all the games. I asked Vito, who I found out was the manager, if he would put on a specific out-of-state college game (Go Clemson), and he was more than happy to oblige; unfortunately, not every sports bar in the area will, we know this from experience. The menu offers a diverse selection, and everything I have tried has been excellent. This night we ordered the fish tacos, and they were delicious!!! The table next to us had nachos, and I don’t think I have ever seen a plate of nachos that large & full of toppings. They offer drink specials, a full bar, and plenty of choices of beer on tap. As if that weren't enough, during my visits, they have had a band starting at 8:00. I don’t know if this is every night, but it is a full band playing various dance music. It’s been a different band each time. The restaurant is relatively large, and the band is inside in the back on a stage with an area to dance. There is plenty of indoor table seating, bar area seating, and outdoor seating. I have never had to wait at a table, service, or food. One of the things that truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waitress during this last visit was Val, and she was so patient while we asked so many questions about the menu and beer selection. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable and memorable. Whiskey Wings Largo restaurant is our #1 go-to now. I took my sister and friend here and we got there and waited 5 minutes till someone came over and told us where we could sit there was a band and it was extremely loud that it was hard to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. We sat down ordered a half pound of boneless wings and a full pound or what they called it wasn’t impressive I was furious they brought out for the half pound 8 boneless wings and for the full pound 16 normal size I’ve worked in the food industry and I know how much a pound is of chicken and it was no where close so the manager never came over to ask if everything was okay the waitress was very busy at the bar taking orders and doing everything while the other girls were no where to be found so she finally came over after finding time she talked to the manager and he comes over and say we preweight our wing and I said I’m not being rude but I’ve worked in the food industry and that is no where close to a half pound and this is not a full pound I just want to get what I’m paying for and he said well I’m sorry that’s what it is and we preweight it and I told him I’ve been to other mugs and jugs and I’ve shared half pound and full pounds with friends and I’ve always got more then 8 and 16 boneless wings and he said nothing and left so then the waitress comes over and asked if everything is okay I said no and she went and talked to him and then came back and said the same thing and said that’s what he told me and I said I’m sorry I normally wouldn’t say anything but if I’m going to pay 10.99 for a half pound and 16.99 for a full pound I would like to get what I pay for she said alright she would see what she could do the manager never came back or fixed the order it was 10pm when we got there it was now 11 and they did nothing to fix it but gave me 10% which was $2.86 for shorting me a very large amount for a full pound and a half pound and the manager was just walking around laughing at the bar and never came back to...

9/27/25 I had shared with my friends it was a great place to go dancing and celebrate our birthdays.They decided to eat there. We got there @ 7pm we got seated right away. It took 35 minutes for a server to get our drink ordered. My friend and I ordered club soda and glass of wine. My other friend ordered a cocktail the other one order a water. After 15 minutes the water and cocktail came. No wine. The band started at 8 the band played 4 songs and we still didn't have our wine. We also had to flag down other servers to take our food order. We waited and watched other people get there food. Finally our wine and club soda arrived. The whole time I had a view of our original server and she was on the cash register the entire time. I noticed that the hosts who had sat us with menus didn't give anyone utinsils??? Then I saw a tall guy come out of the kitchen door walking around with utinsils. We had to wave him down. Then we were approached by another server asking if what she had was our food several different times? I seen a server walking toward us again and I said to the girls you better check the food she is carrying. Sure enough 2 of my friends got what they ordered and they had a chicken sandwich but my friend ordered salad!!! My friend agreed to eat the chicken sandwich she didn't order so that she didn't have to wait an hour for the salad. They charged her for the sandwich instead of the salad!!! They charged me 5.50 for a glass of club soda and 5.50 for a half of glass of terrible wine. COME ON! BY THIS TIME WE PAID AND LEFT!!!! The Mean while the band was great. I wish I never had recommend whiskey wings largo to my friends 😞 we all had danced to the band before and knew they were great. But we were so taken back of the terrible service we left! The bar tender also don't like taking food order. I highly recommend that you retrain your staff or just make it a bar. Good luck...
