Guevara's Meat Market — Attraction in Las Cruces

Wanted to get a small beef roast and was close by the shop. Read the reviews, thought I’d give them a try. I walked in, told the man behind the counter that I wanted a small roast.The shop is clean and nice. He goes back, cuts a small roast, and brings it over wrapped in plastic. It is frozen solid! I have never had that happen at a butcher shop before. Perhaps I should’ve asked for a specific cut or whatever, but I went home, thawed out the beef and baked it like a roast. I went to Las Cruces for a tour and was surprised to know that people there always BBQ. I was directed to Guevara's Meat Market for some good meat. I enjoyed the one on one customer greetings from the managers and the employees. The place was clean, and well organized. Its what you call a Bodega in NYC. Good place to buy fresh cut meats, Products Like Goya, (Bacalao) which is Cod fish in English. just a nice neighborhood small market.
