Douglas A. Selby Park and Trailhead — Attraction in Las Vegas

Dont go as part of a sight seeing tour, you will be disappointed. There is only one road and it hasn't been serviced since horse and buggy. People from the country are super slick, but you don't realize it until your on your way home with a lot less than bargained for. Case in point.

I placed an ad for a stacked washer and dryer for sale on Offer Up. The retail value, last year was $1,299.00. It was only 14 cubic feet and no longer serviced the needs of my family. A person from Douglas Shelby bid 150 and I agreed. They bidder sounded older, so I decided to deliver. I grabbed 2 homes, went and got a uhaul, and we began the journey. Upon arrival a young woman stated that the washer and dryer were too small and she no longer wanted them. I immediately understood her thought process. She knew we did not want to return home with this cumbersome item, so she feigned disinterest. I knew she was aware that they were 14 cubic feet, prior to placing a bid. I stated this, and she gave me a wink, and the cutest 1 tooth smile I had ever seen. I said, how much do you want to pay and she replied 100 dollars. I accepted and we went on our way.

U haul rental was 41 dollars at return. 20 well earned dollars to my homies. 10 dollars in gas returning homies to their respective homes. That brings the total to 71 dollars. Take that out of the 100 she paid and the net profit was 29...

Only reason I am giving it 2 stars is enclosure dog run, and water available for pets to drink. Poop bag holder empty, good thing is I always cary my own. Trash scatered however trash can bag was replaced either today or yesterday. Yes this is Memorial Day Weekend, but you can tell NO ONE!!! Has been taking care of this enclosure, lots of dog feces on ground, semi cover dog feces, poop bags with feces in them laying on ground wich my husband picked up. Trash around inside of enclosures, weeds that are more than just 4 or 6 days old. Is someone really geting paid to do a half as@ job? Ok, I know they are just DOG'S, but then are our pets not part of our family, we bathe, feed them, take them to vet, and even give them a clean place to sleep? So what is going on? our tax dollars go to parks and recreation as well. The suppervisors are not doing their...

The navigation app led me to the leisure park side, where people can hang out, swing on a swing, or take a stroll. Recreation park was clean, no bathrooms, provided many places to sit down with shade, small, little play water station. There was also an over path foot bridge.

I had to drive on the other side of town to get to the dog park. There is enclosed space for small dogs and enclosed space for larger dogs. The parking lots were closed, so you are forced to park on the street, which was pretty scretchy, plus not enough parking on the streets. Overall, it was okay dog park.
