We purchased tickets in advance and were given a 5:30 time slot. We were gravely disappointed in the multitude of walk-ins! The park was far overercrowded that our grandson didn't get a train ride, as the line was over an hour long! He did go down the slide once, and throughly enjoyed it, but again, right after the line grew too long to go again, or enjoy any other rides! When we purchased tickets for a specific time left us wondering what's the point of buying tickets early for a special time, when the walk-ins and others completely filled the park greatly inhibiting our activity enjoyment?
Lastly, their were so many vendor's selling food, yet no synchronized lights like we remembered from past displays. We made the best of it but could have been so much nicer.
I appreciate hearing that you're sorry this happened and that you're working on improving, yet no mention of why this was allowed to happen or possibly a partial credit towards next years visit? We spent $150 to attend and not be able to enjoy everything with our grandson, because the park was...

We wanted to get our daughter a wristband so she could do some of the activities. The lady working the box office told us that she didn’t need one. So we go on the carousel and no issues then my daughter wanted to ride the train so we wait in line and the lady working it asks us for a ticket. We had no idea what she was talking about and I tried to explain to her what the lady at the box office had told us. She was extremely rude and didn’t care about anything I was trying to tell her. Out of nowhere an older man also working the train, yells at us and says if she doesn’t have a ticket she can’t get on! Proceeds to try and grab my daughters arm to remove her from the platform!!! I can’t believe we paid $27 for that! And on top of it, I tried to call and talk to a manager right after we left to tell him the situation and their phones are off the hook! Never donating or partaking in...
Read moreThe mission here is so worthy. Training and assisting handicapped individuals so they can be independent and enjoy a fruitful life. I enjoy spending time here. It causes me to be in a "Christmas " mood. Sometimes crowded but all are polite anf enjoy the lights, food, and the train ride for the little ones. I have volunteered for many years and get a fulfillment i just do not get elsewhere. Community volunteer day was great. Everyone was friendly and worked hard. There are many more opportunities through the first of the year. Just goto the opportunity village website, click on volunteers, pick the date you want to volunteer and sign up. It's a great place to be in the...
