Little Giant Comics & Collectibles — Attraction in Lawrence

When we first entered the store we were greeted by this young tall white male with red hair. When we first entered the store he was helping these two customers, soon after he finished with them we noticed that he was hovering over us. Not one time did he ask if we needed help instead he was pretending to look at some thing on the wall. At first we didn't think he was following us but then we noticed that when we would walk to another part of the store he was close by. He followed us around the store for about 10 minutes until we started to feel uncomfortable. He even followed us to the door! When we left he walked back to the cash register. There was other people in the store and he didn't follow them around but of course it was because they were white. It sucks because my partner and I were enjoying our time in the store. It's sad that as people of color we can't walk into a store without being followed and watched. Just want to warn other POC, so if you go to this store be prepared to be followed by the young white man...

Spent over $100 on vintage unopened packs today, and a sportsflicks box that i thought was packs(they were all together on one shelf implying they were packs). Only realized when i got home that it wasn't sealed packs but just loose cards. Called to return, but no luck. They wont exchange – even though it was purchased just 4 minutes prior, they wouldn't budge. Will never return to this store. They maye have succeeded in selling their 15 buck box of Sportflics but lost thousands of dollars in future sales from me.

EDIT": as a response, the box was not a factory sealed set as the owner says below and i have a picture of the box on your shelf for proof. Was not sealed at all. Terrible and rude as you can see below. Will never ever return to this store. If others dont see how terible this person is by their response, your loss. What card's could i possibly want to "take out" to scam you. Best card in the set is worth 23 cents.

Amazing Selection of hard to find gems across all genres. Staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Got a chance to meet one of the owners, and she was very welcoming and good-natured.

Visual merchandising and displays were clean, inviting, and well-stocked.

Literally too much to see in one trip! My friends and I had to force ourselves to leave and get lunch (after we spent close to $1000). Love the Advanced D&D #1 and Marvel Star Wars issues I picked up!

Our lunch was spent planning our next trip ... Which apparently will be on our next day off, lol

Walk in with a smile on your face, and you will leave exactly the same way (with a bunch of amazingly cool stuff!)
