Morenito Mambo — Restaurant in Lawrence

I ordered uber Eats from there. I received the wrong order and uber eats just refunded me the money. When I opened the food I could see the bad quality. Chicharrones were just fully of fat and tostones not fully cooked inside. Food is overpriced. I called the restaurant to see if they have my order to give it a try and to ask if they have delivery. The lady confirm she had my order and first she said it would be $5 dollars to delivery, then I gave the hotel address (13 min from restaurant) and she said it would be $10 instead. I agreed. But then delivery took forever so I called back to cancel. She got angry and start with lies saying driver was on the way, that she is doing me a favor because my uber eats order was to pickup and not deliver (when I’m the one with the evidence of my delivery order), and more excuses. Ughhh the mofongo is one of the BEST I’ve ever had !! I tried the regular plátano type with 3 types of meat in it and it was amazing! I then tried the yuca one with the 3 meats and I fell in love !! I drive from Boston with my family because it’s well worth it. Did I mention the cook adds cheese to the mofongo ?? I didn’t know I needed that in my life until I tried it. I’ve tried the churrasco, carne frita, chicken tenders & the pinchos. REALLY GOOD FOOD & huge portions so you can take it home if you can’t finish it, all cooked to order. Happy...
