Rally House Lawrence 23rd Street — Attraction in Lawrence

I stopped by to get some Taylor Swift related shirts. The first clerk was friendly and helpful. She retrieved a shirt for me to try on so I went to try it on. It was not the right shirt so I gave it to the man at the desk by the fitting rooms. I then went back to the front of the store to get the correct shirt and the second lady helped me. She got the shirt down but was very distrustful of where I had placed the other shirt. She would not hand it over until I gave her the shirt I had taken back initially. I informed her that I handed to an employee back by the fitting rooms and then she relented. She was very suspicious and unfriendly. I am a senior citizen that supports local business and KU. I really like the location and the layout of this location over others I've visited that feel cramped. This was my first visit to this store, and contrary to others I've been to, the customer service skills of the staff here were fantastic. I did not pass an employee who didn't check to see if I needed anything or had any questions, and each made sure I knew where they would be should I need help. Somehow, even though they ALL spoke to me, they managed this without being obnoxious or intrusive. This store has a lot of stuff, but it is easy to find what you are looking for. They had a lot of choices for clothing and all things KU, plus Royals, Chiefs, K State. Pittsburg State and Washburn had a small selection as well, but at least they had those schools in the store. At this location everything is spread out so you can find what you are looking for. From Adults, women, kids, and baby sizes. Also, there are products for Kansas products and BBQ. KU Children books as well at this location. My favorite shop to get KU wear!
