My family used to frequent Korma Sutra for their lunch buffets back when they were located at the strip mall by the Marriot hotel- and you'd never fail to leave with a smile back then. Now with a family of my own, I was delighted to see they reopened at a newer, more spacious location, and the owner is still the jolly and generous person as he always has been. We were offered apps as we waited in line to be seated, and more appetizers as we waited for our orders to be taken, which is very thoughtful when they know they are busy. Though the buffet is not available currently, easily the same value can be had from one of their family meals (dinner for 2, 3, 4), as the most popular curries and sauces are included in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Our little babe had a mishap accidentally eating something spicy off her papa's plate, but despite her noise, the owner took it well in stride, making this a very family friendly place. He also had offered her balloons to play with, which was a great idea for an impatient toddler before the food came. The owner was also very diligent about the wiping up and cleaning of tables when making them available, which was reassuring for us as the customers. For the atmosphere alone, it was worth the drive to come back and visit. The food was as homey as I remembered, and the servers and owner always make each visit so delightful. I'm so thankful that Korma Sutra was able to expand their dining space with this new location, and hope to make more memories here in the future with our growing little family!

If you want to get pampered, just go to this place, as we were eating our food, they kept on giving us freebies like gulab jamun, kulfi. I would rate the food to be okay but the hospitality is awesome.

We ordered the Vegetarian dinner for 2. We ended up seeing 4 different servers during our dinner, but they all came very sparsely. The bathroom was locked at the time also and unavailable for use. When we first sat down a man gave us chutney but we said we were ready to order and he said the woman would come by to take it. We waited quite a while for her to eventually come, and didn't see her until the very end when she finally refilled my empty water. I had given up and started drinking my husband's. When the curry came out the chef said a comment like "Her is your rice, don't be angry" in a singing voice, but we had never made any angry comments or looks to anyone so it was confusing. We also got our naan but it was overdone and had to send it back for new naan. Additionally, according to the menu the desert is supposed to be gulab jamun, which is my favorite, but it was swappes put for toffee ice cream without staff mentioning anything. We did get a free mango lassi and we also received chai tea so that was nice. The girl who came at the end of our service to wash our hands was very kind and friendly. The food was all good but not noteworthy. It ended up being 46 without our tip included. Overall, it was a fine dinner but I probably won't be back.

I know it's cliche to say "I don't usually write reviews, but..." but my husband and I came here for dinner this evening and I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was the worst dining experience we've have ever had. And I don't write this out of anger, but sincere disappointment and honestly, feeling really sad. We've only gone out to eat a couple of times in the last year, and we decided to go eat here after seeing wonderful reviews. We arrived a little before 7:00 and were seated after about 10 minutes, feeling very in the way while waiting. We waited almost 50 minutes before someone came to take our order (honestly I don't know how to explain why we waited other than the fact that we were excited to try somewhere new and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt- maybe they're just really busy.) Our appetizer arrived at 8:20, 30 minutes after ordering. The rest of our food didn't arrive until 8:50, almost 2 hours after we arrived. While we waited, we watched others wait close to an hour for their carry out orders. Another table left before their food arrived. (Again, I don't know why we didn't, but we both wish we had.) The owner wore only a scarf to cover his mouth and nose, and his erratic behavior went from endearing, to annoying, and then to pushy and aggressive by the end of the night. When our food arrived (after almost 2 hours) we were disappointed. When the owner brought our food, he said "no more angry!" repeatedly, though we were doing our best not to show our disappointment and hadn't said anything to suggest that we were upset. My meal was fine, no complaints but just as good as other Indian I have had. My husband likes things a bit spicy, so he ordered his "hot," but it was so spicy that it was inedible. No flavor, only overwhelming spice. I ate mine quickly so that we could finally leave, and we waited a while longer for boxes, then headed for the counter to try to pay. But the owner yelled across the restaurant for us to sit back down for "the rest of our food." We were just ready to go home. But he came to our table with a lime and water to "wash our hands," a touch I'm sure is nice after a decent dinner, but felt contrived and uncomfortable. They then brought us desert (complimentary, I think?) but by this time, we were just tired and disappointed and wanted to go home. We finally went to the counter to pay, and a woman stood at the counter counting receipts (it was 9:30 by this point) and though she clearly saw us...she ignored us. We stood there for about 10 minutes until I asked if we could check out, and she acted as if she hadn't seen us. We finally left after about 2.5 hours of feeling ignored, disappointed, taken advantage of, and confused by the owner's forced attempt to convince us that we didn't have reason to be upset. It felt similar to a tourist trap one would find in New York or Vegas, trying to sell an "authentic Indian experience." The whole thing was really draining and we're both feeling achingly sad that we chose to stay just out of hope that the extreme wait and the terrible service would be justified by the...

06/19/21, still waiting on a return of the lunch buffet. 02/13/22, still waiting 05/09/22, still waiting on the buffet folks. 05/18/22, I have gone there a few times with friends. I think I know why they have not reopened the buffet. I was there recently on a Sunday. They were packed, why have a buffet when you can charge the higher lunch, or evening rate. My food order only contained a small piece or two of chicken in an already small portion. Now they do bring you some free appetizers, but try a little harder guys. Changing my rating as you do not deserve 5 stars. 06/11/22, with the fact that we are moving to normalcy, I checked to see if there were any more Indian buffets around, and came across a Pitch article dated 04/14/21, quote “owner Baljit Singh says the lunch buffet isn’t coming back. I press him a bit—even after the pandemic has ended? Even if we really do get “back to normal”? “One thousand percent,” Singh says. “No more buffet.” If you were waiting on the buffet to return at this restaurant, it does not look good. According to the owner 1000% not good. The last time I ate there I went with 2 friends. The food was on the skimpy side, and we all split the bill. I was charged twice as much as I should’ve been charged. I can do better elsewhere. If I want a clown for entertainment I will go to a circus. 5/ 07/23, well it looks like the owner is sticking to his guns when it comes to the no buffet thing. 09/30/23, still no buffet 01/23/24, still no buffet 05/27/24, No buffet. 10/14/24, NO BUFFET. 01/11/25, They really need to take the buffet remarks off the reviews, since they do not offer a buffet. 08/24/25, the website says no current lunch buffet. Just be honest, and say no buffet...
