I've recently shopped here A LOT, because they've been having some truly incredible deals... I mean, where else are you going to find an entire outfit for roughly $3? Yes, that is including shoes. They were having such great savings that I really just couldn't help myself! Tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories, any and everything you can think of from $0.89! Deals/savings can drastically change, but once you're a member, they keep you all too regularly posted, lol!
For me, the hugest issues are the fact that you have to pretty much spend at least a solid 2 hours sifting through lots of clothing, half of which is ripped up or snagged or stained or something else horrific, just to find some jewels that are worth paying for. Now, if you have the patience, you can easily find your Seven jeans for all of a couple of dollars or an entire Victoria's Secret outfit for under $10 or even some cute Marc Jacobs or Vince Camuto garments for the freakishly low. However, it takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. That being said, this place is best suited for a Shopaholic who can withstand the pressures of time.
Lastly, the staff... There are all of 3 nice workers at this place, and there are a lot of workers here. At least 1/3 of them do not speak English as a first language, so asking them questions in English likely won't get you very far. There is only one cashier who is attentive when checking out customers. She has saved me much grief from buying a garment that had holes in it that I just so happened to miss. She is definitely the greatest, but she's young and certainly will not be there for much longer. The fact that they allow children to run amuck and unattended and run in and out of ladies dressing rooms kind of did it in for me. It will be a long while before they see me back...
Read moreI’ve been here before a few years ago so I expected to hunt around for hidden gems but I didn’t remember it being so gross in there. The name is misleading in my opinion, seems like it would be NEW clothing that has slight damage, past season or overstock. Lots of it is used clothing which is fine by me but so much of it is ripped, stained, unwashed and it’s not like the prices reflect this. I couldn’t believe how much they had things marked for in that condition.
I gave it a good chance and still looked through quite a bit, they do have some designer labels and stuff I liked but the prices were laughable. $75-$200 for Trina Turk dresses that had ripped seams on the front that’s not hidden. Some things the label is removed and in that process the item is torn where the label was and still charging close to $100. You can get better deals on designer items during a sale at Halls, it just feels dirty in there and the clothes stink. I saw one dress marked for $800, smashed in with damaged clothing. Just confusing to me.
I gave 2 stars because I know there’s probably a few finds in there if you dig deep for something in New condition with tags attached and can be cleaned well. Make sure you have lots of time to dig, I found kid...
Read moreThe clothes and products themselves are as to be expected for the prices. It's rejects from stores and products with defects so expectations shouldn't be very high and you can find great deals. BUT the customer service is terrible. Like the other review on here, one of the girls working in the fitting room fairly often has been quite rude. I work in the retail customer service field and I would not have a job for very long with that kind of service.
The most disappointing feature of this store to me is that they close the dressing rooms 45 minutes before closing now! I've been going here a while and they've never done that before. They gave no warning or posted information telling you they close the dressing rooms, they just randomly announced one night that dressing rooms were closed with still 45 minutes to shop. I had to leave the store with no purchases because of this. I spent a lot of time trying to find jeans and all of it was wasted time as I was not even able to try them on at the end. Without a warning that dressing rooms would be closed, I had no idea I had a time limit to try them on. Very...
