David Rancourt River Preserve — Attraction in Lewiston

I want to start by saying I think it is irresponsible to post pictures of children on floats on these Beaches. No responsible parent should allow their child to swim in this area ever!!!

Don’t sleep on this short loop ! Beautiful scenery. A few sandy beach areas, and a scenic overlook at the top of the trail which is fantastic. It’s a dirt trail that traverses through the trees, very enjoyable, could spend hours here. The scenic overlook would probably make for a great sunset view.

Pretty easy loop, good for leisure walks and probably running. Open sunset to sunrise like most trails.
