Hess & Co. Jewelers — Attraction in Lexington

My wife has wanted a narrow gold band to go with an heirloom ring for some time, so we stopped in to Hess & Company Jewelers to see what might be available. Owner Eddie Clowser was very helpful and showed us a surprisingly broad selection of bands, from very plain to quite stunning. As we looked at the choices, Eddie offered observations that were helpful, but not intended to “push” us in any particular direction. In the end, we chose a band that subtly enhanced my wife’s family heirloom but did not overwhelm it. As a bonus, Eddie sized the ring while we went next door for a cappuccino. It's a shame Google only allows 5 stars, because Hess & Co. deserves all of that and more. They have been our jeweler one two occasions in the past 5 years. They first sold us our wedding bands and most recently reset an heirloom stone in a gorgeous new setting. The work they do is stellar (thanks, Eddie!), they communicate everything clearly. We won't go anywhere else.
