Sophia's Nail Salon & Spa — Attraction in Lexington

I have been to this salon multiple times with no problems. I mostly get my eyebrows waxed and they do a great job, except this time... a lady that I haven’t seen there before called me back to wax. I laid there 30 minutes wondering what was taking her so long but brushed it off to “well maybe she’s really cleaning them up, I bet they’ll look great!” When she’s finished she handed me the mirror and ALMOST ALL OF MY EYEBROWS ARE GONE!!!!!! I have been trying to grow them out and make them thicker for over 3 years. Trying to get away from the thin, outdated eyebrows. Which is really hard to do! I held back my tears, paid and went and cried in my car for 30 minutes. It’s taken me a week to even leave this review bc I don’t even want to think about that experience. So now, I draw on my eyebrows and will start my 3 year growth process all back over. What confuses me, is why would she think I wanted them all ripped off?? I was inquiring about their new micro blading and she handed me a brochure while I was being waxed.......

I typically love going here...but my last 2 visits have left me with different feelings.. I took my mom the monday after mother's day to get pedicures for both of us...only my mom was able to get one bc someone came and tried to start me after she was done...I wasn't going to make her wait on me...fast foward to my mist recent time....I made a appt for me and my MIL before our trip to Florida, with Amy and Miranda....well, apparently Miranda didnt want to show up for work that day, so another lady started on my MIL...Amy was still with her previous appt.... well my MIL was almost done with hers. So another girl started my pedicure and I waited on Amy to do my gel... 2 other girls came in and she took them for a eyebrow wax...so I waited some more. Just waited an hour an a half on a manicure that never happened. One lady was complaining that she wanted to go home and couldn't do my set. The other lady who said she would do my set took another women instead of me. I've tried this nail salon 5 times and each time is awful, the wait is always a hour to even 3 hours long. They have told me that they dont take appointments but they made exceptions for others walking in after me. They even took a walk in pedicure while i was already waiting 40 minutes. Just don't even waste your time or money here. I left this nail salon in tears. I ended up at the salon by the Lexington Walmart Citi Nails, they got me in as soon as I walked in and they took care of all my needs and that will be my go...
