Drops Mobile Electronics, Inc. — Attraction in Lilburn

First impression is a lasting impression!!! I was seeking a professional company to install a sub/amp combo in my vehicle. I decided to do some research prior to driving to a local shop. I saw many positive reviews for Drops Mobile, so decided to contact them for an appointment. That’s where it all ends. I’ve called several times, emailed this company twice, left voicemail messages, and text (which were the methods of contact listed on the website). This all occurred over a two week period. Not once have I heard from anyone associated with this company. Professionalism starts far before the first wire is spliced. I guess I’m the only potential customer that has had this experience. After two weeks of attempts, I decided to write an honest review.

Updated 6/29/18: Wow.... I’ve been calling, emailing, and texting to get a response from this guy and a simple negative review gets an immediate response. How simple is it to answer a phone or respond to an email stating that you’re extremely busy and as soon as we can, we can schedule an appointment? But I have to come to a google review of the business to get a response. On top of that, the is business owner makes a comment to ask to send techs their way.... REALLY!!! I really don’t see how this business is receiving so many good reviews with such a response. Be courteous and professional...... simply answer and respond to voicemail and email. Your website states that you will respond within 24 hours..... PLEASE take that off your website or change it to 24 days or simply state, “add a negative review and we’ll respond...

I contacted DeShawn for an install of a head unit and backup camera I had purchased. He was the pure definition of professional in every sense of the word.

I contacted Drops mobile because with 2 young children I watch, it was going to be very difficult to take my vehicle to a location and have the installation done and keep my kids occupied. This solution knocked out two birds with one stone.

He came to my house and performed the installation and during the installation he made the recommendation the head unit I purchased was not a good one. His claim was completely substantiated as upon the install the unit was not functioning properly. During the whole process, he kept me informed and in the know.

I contacted him a few days after for a recommendation on a better head unit. We came up with a solution that met my requirements and out he came a few days later to install the new head unit, clean as a whistle.

The price of everything was completely fair and reasonable. Strongly competitive with anything you'd get at an installation location. I plan on getting some more work done to my vehicle and Drops will be the first...

What a great guy! DeShawn showed up ready to fix my auxillary port,from what I had explained to him over the phone. When he arrived, he promptly notified me & I went out to meet with him. He was VERY professional & did a check list of my vehicle and covered my seats before going to work. After a bit he called to ask me to come back out. My port was different than he had expected and he couldn't fix it at this time. It needed a different type port. The OEM part was $135 and he could get it for me and install it...but.... He found one on ebay for $35 and said he thought it may work. My choice? He told me I could order it & install it myself and save some money. If it doesn't work, return it and He would order the part from the dealer and install it. I ordered the part after he sent me the link and showed me what to do when it arrived. Well... it arrived & I hooked it up as he instructed. IT WORKS !!!! I am a happy camper. Thank you DeShawn - You Rock! He wouldn't even let me tip him!I highly recommend "Drops" if you need professional, knowledgeable & friendly...
