Solarium by Watermark Brewing Company — Attraction in Lincoln Charter Township

Where do we even begin?! From the moment my husband and I toured the Solarium with Chris, we knew this was the place for us. Apologies in advance for the long love letter 😂

To begin, Jess was absolutely wonderful in helping us pin down the event's logistics and worked closely with us and our entire vendor team from start to finish in order to ensure everything come to life. Her extensive knowledge of the building and surrounding area(s) were instrumental in fine tuning our event workbook, photo list, seating arrangements and so much more.

We also had the pleasure of working closely with my dear friend Ali on our curated beverage package that our guests raved about for weeks to come. The beverage consultation was one of our most favorite moments of the planning process — we wish we could do it all over again just for this! On the morning/afternoon of the wedding, we opted in for the Mimosas and Macs offering for the bridesmaids, as well as a couple of Coolers for the guys who were getting ready in the newly finished Airbnb next store (HIGHLY recommend you look into this! It is amazing!). In regards to the rest of the day, not only were we able to select which Watermark beers we wanted to have on tap, we were able to customize a pre-ceremony cocktail that guests could enjoy before and during the outdoor ceremony, as well leveraged their incredible sparkling cider for our toasts.

The level of care and attention that went into creating the Solarium is overwhelmingly obvious, as there was not one thing they did not think of. From the flow of the garden into the barrel room and main reception space, to the incredible seating areas and live greenery walls, the space is just magical. The Solarium comfortably held our 150+ guests with room to spare and each designated spot felt so intentional. If you are looking for a venue that feels welcoming yet uniquely funky, large enough but still cozy, and truly lets you make it whatever you envision it to be, look no further.

We’d been searching for a while. Going to wedding conventions and touring outrageously priced venues with locked in vendors, when all of a sudden my best friend finds this gem on Lake Michigan. It’s discrete, so you might pass it up on first glance.. but the crew that run Solarium have a secret that needs to be shared!!! Stevensville is a sleeper- and I’m SO glad we stumbled upon it. I imagine once word really gets out, you won’t be able to get your hands on them. We got married in September of 2024. The team are accommodating, creative and have a wonderful vision for the space. They allow you to pick your own vendors, but also have some amazing preferred vendors (shout out to Kitchen & Kegs out of Latitude 42- we STILL get people raving about our food a year later, 1928 Planning for helping us organize our thoughts and conceptualize our event- USE THE DAY OF PLANNING, Bee Entertainment for embracing our eclectic musical preferences and Love’s Ice Cream for delicious desserts). We’re bar people through and through and they have SUCH a stand up event bar- craft cocktails that are light years above all wedding bars I’ve been to, stellar craft beer/wine/seltzers from Watermark… and generally EVERYONE was fully invested in our vision, open to trying new things and letting us step outside the box. I can’t recall how many times they said “we’ve never done that before, let’s try it!”. It genuinely was the best day of our lives and I wish we could go back and do it over and over again. Are you an engaged person looking to have a dope wedding in south west Michigan?! Literally look NO further!

Solarium is where my now husband and I got married at on 3/15 and both ourselves AND our guests can’t get over the venue!

The crew at Solarium were super great with helping us plan/coordinate everything for our special day. The entire venue is NEXT LEVEL gorgeous and every corner is picture perfect. You are required to go through Solarium for beverages/alcohol but, honestly, the bar service was PHENOMENAL and the drinks were delicious and got our guests feeling ready to party!

We decided to book The Canopy (the Air BnB owned by Solarium) for the night before, of, and the night after our wedding. The house is RIGHT NEXT DOOR. Liiiiiiike!!!! My husband and I spent the night before together with most of our bridal party at the Air BnB which was so fun! It was so nice having the space the morning of for hair/makeup to start and when we had access to Solarium at 11am, it was SO easy to hop over to finish the getting ready process! Even better, it was so nice getting to enjoy our wedding, have a few (many) drinks and be able to just walk next door to pass out.

We TRULY could not recommend Solarium enough for any future married couples!! The space is gorg, the drinks are bomb, and above else, the people running the show...
