So glad to have found this place. I frequently travel from Chicago to SE Michigan and donuts are an important part of that trip. I don't know how I've missed this place for seven years, but now it's going to be a regular stop. I LOVE how they use the local produce for their donuts. When I was there, a peach fritter was the donut of the day. I overheard someone explaining that they make a puree from local peaches - which is a great way to concentrate the flavor.
There are three categories; Regular Donuts, Specialty Donuts and Pastries. They are nicely separated on the display and priced accordingly. A lot of thought, effort and skill goes into these creations. It is appreciated.
I opted for a cherry fritter and a bear claw - They were both amazing. The staff was friendly and the building is really nice. This will definitely be a regular stop now - I just have to remember that they're not open on...

Upon arrival I think I stepped through the doors to heaven not a donut shop... the nice girl at the counter asked me what I was looking for, I said “everything.” And wasn’t kidding! Out of 5 items pre-ordered only 2 were correct. Want Cinnamon covered? (received glazed) Want chocolate covered? (Received glazed). It appears they are NOT pulling pre-orders before they open for general customers, rather they pull orders after opening and when they have time. The result is you get whatever they have left that is close to your order at the time they pull your order. Another complaint: If you say you are open till 11am you should have enough donuts available to stay open. Your hours should open till we sell out (usually 11, but often earlier) Or CALL. This is a particular problem around weekends...
