Canyon Grove Academy — Local services in Pleasant Grove

We have been at Canyon Grove for 5 years now. They have changed and grown so much in that time and are just getting better and better every year. This year especially they have shown such amazing support for us who choose to do school all at home. We have loved doing the weekly lessons that they send home which include all the supplies that we could need for the various projects, last week we made god eyes and woven baskets, did science experiments and learned about weather.

Its so amazing to have an Education Specialist on call all the time, if i have a child struggling with a specific subject or I need to order some new curriculum really quick, they have always been very very helpful and always reply quickly.

The resource library is every moms dream, I can walk in and look at all subjects and talk to the librarian and she will help me decide what curriculum she recommends for our learning styles. We get additional science and craft kits, and tons of math games!!

Really the best distance program out there. And their campus is so amazing this year. I was blown away by the office that is basically a garden with fish and plants everywhere. Outside they have so many fun animals all by the fences so we can enjoy them even when they aren't participating in the farm class. Goats, bunnies, chickens, etc.

We love canyon grove. We’ve homeschooled off and on through the years but since being part of the adventures at home program at canyon our homeschooling has felt more natural and routined than ever. Their resource library is incredible and the support from the school for homeschooling is so so helpful. My kids have loved going one and a half days a week and it feels like a perfect balance to me. And I love that they’re involved in animals and gardening at the school! Would highly recommend...
