Woodrow Wilson Park — Attraction in Lithia Springs

I love to walk my small dog here it's a good size, it does need work the trail floods and water seems to sit for long periods but it's a nice park. The biggest complaint I have is the dog park it's nice and is great size but people aren't always cleaning up after their animals so it's not as clean as others. Again my biggest problem is there is no separation for small and large dogs, I went in the other night Noone was there and someone came in with pitbull, he said she was friendly but growled at my little dog so we left it's scary to have big dogs with little ones because even a friendly big dog can hurt a small dog just playing so I wish there was...

The park is close to work, so I sometimes go here for lunch. It's a pretty basic park; some playground equipment, several shelters and a volleyball set-up. It's not very large, but one plus is there's a fenced dog area. I've never seen anyone there, but I like that it's available.
